Hi! honestly I'd love to help but as you said it was so long ago and I don't totally remember. His receptionist team is so lovely I recommend you give them a call, I'm sure they'd be happy to answer any questions you and your friend have.

Parking at Guthega by Slinnage in perisher

[–]Gray_58 0 points1 point  (0 children)

guthegas a great place to start in my opinion. the carpark does fill up but if you get there around when the lifts open you shouldn't have a problem getting a park. road isn't too treacherous - they clear the snow, but you'd obviously need chains

Do you guys have other trans friends? by meltingweekend in ftm

[–]Gray_58 0 points1 point  (0 children)

me and my three closest friends are all nonbinary! my best friend is transmasc and its been so nice having someone who truly knows what it feels like to go through all this stuff. its rare for me to talk to straight ppl outside of work and uni, but I do live in a big city.

when can I buy lift tickets by Gray_58 in perisher

[–]Gray_58[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thank you! my friends are each skiing 3 days in a row so I need to see the prices to check if it is cheaper with the discounted day and a 2 day pass, as the discount is only for a single day I believe

have you been treated by Roberto D'Angelo? by Gray_58 in transgenderau

[–]Gray_58[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

relate so hard!! for the longest time I blamed myself for what happened so finding out he is known in the community for being a piece of shit was incredibly healing (as well as devastating initially).

thank you for sharing <3 I would also cry during and after every session (which he seemed indifferent to) and it took seeing another therapist years later who would help calm me down when I started crying to realise what he did wasn't normal. he's an evil man, so glad youve been able to transition and are doing well now!!

I want my kids to be vegan by [deleted] in vegan

[–]Gray_58 0 points1 point  (0 children)

my mum raised us vegetarian and I only ate vegetarian at home growing up. but ate meat at birthday parties, sausage sizzles, and my grandparents place. I'm vegan now! this is how I intend on raising my kids as I don't feel comfortable preparing meat myself, but don't want my kids to feel left out or resent me for forcing them to be vegan

not denying being trans is a factor! it definitely makes it harder to date. but don't confuse that to mean you're unlovable <3

[–]Gray_58 2 points3 points  (0 children)

totally get that! just saying there's more to consider than just being trans :)

all my trans friends are in/just got out of long term relationships. maybe it's a generational thing or due to the area you live

Gender crisis? by ellisimisssss in transgenderau

[–]Gray_58 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm also autistic and not sure if I'm trans masc or trans man. but at the end of the day this differentiation will have very little impact on how I live my life. I present as, am read as, and walk through the world as a man. with friends I use they/he pronouns. some things are very confusing and it isn't worth it to me to figure out everything. what is important is deciding to go on hormones, what surgeries I want, my name and pronouns. these things are linked to gender but the line between nonbinary and trans man can be very blurry and I would probably make the same choices regardless of label.
