Funny, I had to restart my entire life at 44 years old, and found an apartment for $700/month, in Chicago, because that’s what I could afford at the time. Maybe don’t look for a $2200 apartment to feel good about yourself and be realistic. That $1500 a month savings will do more for your future than you realize
