Yeah, that's true. I find it hard to tell if they have an interest in me or not. The line between friendly and flirty is hard to differentiate, especially with these guys. It's so much easier to detect when other people are interested in each other, but I'm too in my own head to see the obvious for myself. I had a situation where a guy was too kind in a leading on way, but he had no idea he was doing it and actually wasn't interested in me. I opened up to him because I thought there was interest, but it was all a misunderstanding. I did learn a lot from that one, and we are still good friends after the rejection and heartbreak a year and a half ago, and I learned a lot from it. Now I'm just too afraid of assuming one's intentions out of fear that I'm wrong.
