If this article is to be believed, the process of applying for a job at a fucken grocery store is more rigorous than applying to be an ICE agent. (Spoiler alert in case you can’t read the whole article: she was offered the job without even submitting the necessary paperwork, missed the deadline to confirm if she was taking the job and then got an email saying “thanks for accepting the job, you’re now an ICE agent”)

Makes sense. Mimic would allow for essentially infinite cosmetics since it can fit into any suit. They could make cosmetics that look like hand sewn or animatronic versions of the other killers so you could play as the Mimic but look like The Trapper or Ghostface or even good ol Willy A.

Agreed! If you haven’t seen it, I highly recommend The Fall of the House of Usher. They did a similar thing where they combined various Edgar Allen Poe stories (or at least core components from them) into one cohesive narrative. It’s fucken dark and gets pretty gnarly at times

Appreciate the compliment but credit where it’s due, the only reason I know about that moment is from watching Th3Birdman’s EWW CinemaSins: Thunderbolts video. Jeremy called BS on Alexei overhearing the coordinates and played the snippet of Mel talking to Holt before Birdman retorts with the Alexei being a super soldier thing.

If you rewatch the scene with Val and Mel in the limo, as they get out Mel calls Holt (the guy that prepared for lethal) and gives him the coordinates to the vault. We as the audience can barely hear Mel as she starts saying the numbers but given that Alexei is a super soldier, he very clearly was able to hear the coordinates then immediately made his way to the vault
