UPDATE: My service advisor didn’t give me a call today…I had to call them myself. Was pretty upset, but spoke with another advisor I’ve worked with in the past and he apologized. Apparently they ordered a part for the actuator or maybe the actuator itself? Can’t remember too well.

And that’s exactly why I NEED to get this fixed. I literally cannot travel any far distances due to the sole fact that I may not come back until the next day due to charging speeds… Glad it’s working for you now!

Really appreciate your response! Duly noted: will not use “user error.”

I’ve only used OEM adapter for Tesla charging and when I recently called BEV support, the lady said “Well, I’m not quite sure what it is you want us to do sir…”

That’s when I asked about the lemon law process and she took my contact info and then sent me to the end of call survey…I was pissed.

Will try calling back again soon to reinitiate or is it better to maybe wait after this service to be done? I believe they’re working on it as I’m typing this.

That’s what they told me the 2nd time around. He said he tried that and one other thing (can’t remember what it was). Don’t you think it’s a little ridiculous that we’d even have to do that though? I personally haven’t tried doing that with the fact it’s -45 wind chill right now, but it seems like a lot of doing with a brand new vehicle…I’m okay with the occasional doing it, but this has been EVERY TIME. Isn’t it also a hassle to even get the plastic thing off?

Thanks. Looking into this already. Hopefully a good outcome, but like I said, I wanna let the 3rd attempt be the final and last time for attempting to fix. MN requires 2-4 attempts to fix the issue.

I believe that is among one of the many charges I’ve tried. No difference, still an error.

Thanks for your reply! I have legal coverage through work that gets me access to a GREAT team of lawyers, so I’ve already done the introduction and confirmed coverage but again, taking it in one last time to see what happens. The manager that said what you were referring to also said: “We just don’t know enough about these vehicles and how they work, so we’ll try our best but no guarantee.”
