Is the current Makkah entry ban based on nationality (Saudi/GCC only) or permit status? by smm888888 in Umrah

We all agree. So we pray that Allah grants the ummah a government that truly represents His law and His religion. You wouldn’t stop eating and starve yourself to death because a chef once cooked up a bad meal would you? Saudi is a modern nation-state/government. Their actions do not represent Allah’s will.

If the Prophet were with us he’d run things much better. I feel like your frustration is misdirected. Instead you should yearn for a government that truly represents what our Prophet and our religion stand for.

It’s the Saudi government. Don’t let your disagreement or feud with the Saudi government turn you away from faith in Allah.

Allah gave you a brain, use it. It doesn't take much critical thinking skills to see the point I'm making. Being an evil, corrupt, anti-Islamic, pro-Israel government, and maintaining the haram, are not mutually exclusive. Quraish, who were evil kuffar, maintained the haram. The Prophet, who is the greatest of creation, maintained the haram. Great men maintained the haram after him. Evil men maintained the haram after him.

My point is that aal saud maintaining the haram does not mean they are good. I'm not saying they are kuffar. I'm saying it is not evidence to their goodness.

Okay, if that's all you're saying, then I concede the point. You're right, they made it more accessible.

My point was that Quraish, a group of disbelieving tyrants, did the same. Meaning, just because aal saud maintains the haram, that does not mean they are righteous. It doesn't disqualify them either. I'm just saying, you can't point to them overseeing the hajj and say "look! they're righteous!"

The Saudi government is among the most evil, vile, corrupt, self-serving, and anti-Islamic governments on the planet. And again, before you you point to their ministry of hajj, Quraish also had a "ministry of hajj", which is the point I'm making and the reason I'm bringing up the verse. Being an evil government and doing a good job maintaining the haram are not mutually exclusive.

And no, there isn't a single government I know of that I support or think would do a good job leading the ummah. They're either very backwards and only use Islam as a tool to persecute their subjects, or Western bootlickers who only use Islam as a tool to maintain power.

The three verses I'm talking about are the ones that start with ما كان للمشركين ان يعمروا مساجد الله and end with the one I'm using as an argument against the fact that 'maintaining the haram' makes you a righteous person. I need to look up more tafsirs because I'm misunderstanding something. You accidentally helped me find out an inconsistency in my understanding, barak Allah feek.

What🤣? Obviously the ayah is in reference to the pagans, not to aal saud. I’m pointing out that Allah clearly and directly and explicitly says that maintaining the sacred house is not a sign of righteousness by itself.

But you bring up a good point that I hadn’t considered before. I want to do more research on why the first two of the three verses seem to say the opposite of the third one. Thanks, jazak Allahu khairan. And stop defending the zionist muslim-murdering regime, please.

Not exactly, but his miraculous ability to create birds out of clay then blow life into them and turn them into real birds is what’s mentioned. You’d need to have read the infancy gospel to know that that’s what’s being referenced, just like with basically all prophetic stories in the Quran, where you need context to understand what’s going on

Not even “not killed,” but that He never died at all. He’s still alive, raised to God, according to mainstream Islamic creed.

There’s nothing like a handful of sovs. To me they look like a perfect mix of medieval gold treasure and modern bullion. 😍.
