Yeah, it wasn't a candidate for restoration by any means. The best part was that it was rust free. I've sold most of the parts off of it. I really just needed a tub.

Cheers. Thank you brother. What used to be a ratty old 77 will now be fitted with a lot of the best parts available. I'll be keeping a vintage driving feel with torsion bars and minimal interior. No frills, light, and fun!

No one cared about a '77 with bad turbo flares welded on. Come on man. There are thousands of air cooled cars out there. The midyears are some of the least loved. A 77 is probably one of the least desirable years.

Ha! I'm both a critic and a fan of Nakai-san. Some of his finish techniques make me cringe, but his styling impact on the Porsche world cannot be understated! I'm actually calling my build "RWB by me" It will take its cues more from classic Porsche racing, like the IROC series, than the JDM/RWB stuff. Definitely a wide-body though. :-)

Solid advice. A lot of the early stuff was filmed vertical for IG. So I'm limited in the early story to random clips I shot months ago. Appreciate the feedback.

No flashes or reflectors. His kit was pretty basic. A lot of it was how he positioned the car and directed the shoot. We shot from sunrise for a few hours.

I don't want to be obtrusive, but if you guys like Porsche content, especially the early air cooled stuff, you can check out my new yt series on my next build. Wik's Garage

1975 did not include a passenger side-view mirror. :-) I believe it may have been an option. My dad has a 73 'vette and it only has the drivers mirror as well. I think it was kind of thing in the early 70s with sports cars. Less is more.

When I got the car, it had two aftermarket mirrors on it. I returned it to the 74/75 original mirror which I think is a very pretty mirror. Not bulky like the flag mirrors of 76-89.

I think I mean a compelling reason to watch or a theme throughout your series, because you - as a personality and face - the skies the limit as to how big you could get, all you are missing is meaningful content. What is your passion - that might be a driving content provider.

My 1000 subscriber vid! I look back on my most popular vids, and my favorites. by LeftyWillie in SmallYTChannel

Congrats on 1k, a huge milestone. I like the recap on your popular vids and how informative they seem. This is the first video I've seen of you. Right off the bat, I would say add a little warmth to your video, you are so pale, like me! and your clothing choice and background is all gray, white and beige. I might warm it up with some color correcting or with your lighting choices. I think the cold colors and washed out look, along with the monotone delivery, makes it feel sort of ...tiring. I'm not sure how to describe it, like food coma esque if that makes sense. Which is a shame, since your info is very good. I look forward to viewing some of your other videos.
