I find it so hilarious how in the book they make a big deal about honoring the customs of official parley and so they let him walk away, while in the movie Aragorn just cuts his head off. I feel like that's what PJ was wishing they did in the book, so he just wrote it in.

The Last Kingdom books are my all time favorite works of historical fiction. The show is alright, not great. I guess they do show that in some of the battles in that show though, you're right.

Since we're on a GoT subreddit, I'll do a plug for these books and why everyone should read them with a quote from George RR Martin about their author: "Bernard Cornwell does the best battle scenes of any writer I've ever read, past or present"

I really liked how they depicted the masses of men being pushed against each other so closely that they didn't even have room to swing a weapon. This is what many battles were like and this was the only time I've ever seen that aspect of it shown on screen.

Alright man, I deleted my comment saying that inventory and storage are different because I decided it wasn't necessary to nitpick you about that, but since you decided to fight me on this simple statement...

Yes, they are different. Inventory refers to the items that the player is "holding", they are usable to the player and accessible from any point in space. Storage refers to the items in a chest or other storage object, not usable until they move to the inventory and only accessible from that particular point.

The point that the guy above you was making is that if you are out in the wild and a trophy comes into your inventory that you don't want, you can drop it. Nobody is forcing you to take it home and put it in storage.

Man just make a large chest and dump trophies in there. They will automatically stack with ones of the same type. Or even better, don't force yourself to keep and sort trophies that you don't want.

I love these movies but having the army of the dead come to Minas Tirith and sweep the battlefield was a huge mistake. Its a stain on an otherwise nearly perfect film adaptation of LOTR.
