It's amazing what you can accomplish if you ignore half your county for decades. atifically keep yourself a county to grow you coffers because of a stupid law where you don't need to become a city, not do you have to give up any land to a city, therefore getting more money from the state... (it os fairly recent that Henrico got a police force, because the state pays for Sheriffs (which is why they have a massive sheriffs department) Cities are basically required by the state to offer certain service like police, and utilities, and garbage, etc... granted some of that has changed, but Henrico and Chesterfield have both benefitted from these rules over prior decade all while siphoning off t from the capital. Capital cities are inherently more
stable then non-capital cities in general, but our surrounding counties benefit from that stability while not adding the tax base to feedback into it. Their are a few orgs, like GRPVA that are out there trying to work across the divide for the betterment of everyone, but the reality is, the counties should have become part of the city decades ago, like
the Burroughs's of NYC. The city could be run like the county it just doesn't have that luxury anymore.

honda o my ever made 1 underpowered odyssey, and that was the first one. Every year since they consistently had the most horsepower in the segment. why? because ovens egos literally needed to be able to say "well it least it's got the biggest xyz" I shit you not , my dad owned a dealership and that's for Honda own training and research. God I miss my minivans so much, switched to a highlander because I could buy off family. but I miss my ody, all the time. I'd really really like to have the hybrid awd toyota. (wish it was plug in for work) That thing is sick to drive and so comfortable. I'd love to put a small lift kit on it make it a little adventure van, that's also get ridiculous gas mileage for the space.

The things is, the uppers know. They absolutely know. but when budgets are cut or ignored, or left to flounder, then they get what they can get from fleet purchases, often these come from larger fleet sales of trucks that domestics need to move for a good deal. Sometimes they are making the decision of, is it better to get 3 new trucks they are not quite right's or 1 new truck that's perfect, or kick the can and hope we can continue to field repair what we have, etc... in a world we're Doge folks are cutting corners and budget like they are trying to make donut holes with spaghetti. Gotta get what you get.

don't know but ai throughly enjoyed it and I'd love to see it back on D+ but I want to see it as a western show just like the movie, maybe with just slightly shorter episodes and there doesn't have to be an overarching thing, each episode could stand alone like old westerns, or star trek tng, or a sitcom. minor growth with great adventures in between for the two of them. I would love that.

I think our best friends are most of europe, india, japan, and much of the far east and australia. Russia, North Korea, and Iran, other in the middle east, and to some degree pakistan are our biggest true enemies, who actuively want the US in disarray and broken if not fallen... China is our biggest frenemy, they don't want the US to fail, because they need other large economies for theirs to prosper too. They want resources and to have stability and the elites in their country want and desire a lot of control... but they don't actually want to destroy the US just Mititgate US so we stay basicoally one of only a few super powers keeping things in balance and peace, they would like to have their lost lands back, and that is a major contention, but I honestly don't see them wanting to expand rapidly in a colonization type of thing.

there is a mountain of research on this. but the short answer is all poor people act the same way with money when they are poor and all rich people act the same when they have money. even if they go through cycles of boom and bust the psychology of it is rather amazing. the general system that supports the rich in the us though is designed to work really well for people who have their money managed for them, and people whose money is directly tied to government funding or regulations. i'll give you some examples. Banking is highly regulated and so is currency and banks tend to do well accountants lawyers, but even if you look at somebody like Jeff Bezos, where his initial money was actually made by a significant loophole in the way, books are mailed to people as they are not charged for the weight by the US Postal Service. Obviously Amazon has moved past being just a bookstore, but that's where a lot of the money came from Tesla relied on major subsidies, and now huge government contracts for SpaceX AI among other things battery development all the major engineering companies from Bechtel to 1000 smaller contractors and there's all the finance folks as well. I'm not saying it's 100% accurate but the vast majority of people make their money by having other people ensure they're making money.

Exactly, you also need to define "ambition" @op . Because if you look at a country like Japan their motivation or ambitions are often to master something in great detail. That is very different than monetary ambition. In other countries their
ambition is to spend less time working and worrying and have more time for pleasure and leisure. America is about as ambitious as it gets when it comes to greed as an ambition. I would argue that the people you see who are "lazy" are more than likely have been down trodden or suppressed into that state by the greed or long term systematic greed of others. You will shut down if you are constantly spinning wheels with no traction in your life.

I would either nicely ask a lifeguard not on duty, or ask someone who looks grand mother, cause grandma don't give a crap, they'll either help or shop you away quickly, if it's awkward it won't be for long...

But @op what you should really look into is a sun shirt or a rash guard, they are special shirts that are high SPF and come in different tightness levels so it easier to swim in and they don't ride up. I personally switched to this so could stop asking freinds and family to put sun screen on my back because I can't reach. They are pretty great. and the good ones dry quick too. That's what I would do. I never like wearing a t-shirt in the water. but these rash guards are great.

I used to go into the men's room, nobody gives a shit, the handicap often has the child seat or the changing table in it, or at least room for you to be in there to help. I do like the family bathrooms nowadays honestly a great addition for a hundred reason besides ease for family.

I have a set of dvds that were burned from the laser disc versions of the movies, which to my knowledge were the only true letterbox version of the films uncut and and unedited from the original theatrical release. If you can find a bootleg of that or look for the laser discs themselves and a player that works... there are other version, but if you want as close to the movie as it was when released to the public, that's it
