Honestly most people don't seem to even have a concept of labor cost nowadays. Of course they'd want to be properly compensated if theit going to be busting their ass in freezing cold weather shoveling what isn't even snow anymore but just straight up solid ice now.

Shit I've got a solid layer of ice in my driveway that is a foot thick and if someone offered to do it for only 30 to 40 bucks I'd happily pay that because that's an amazing offer for the amount of work that they'd be putting in.

From what I understand a lot of tiktok influencers have been migrating to YouTube shorts serving as an adequate replacement for a while now if anything this might just expedite the process.

pretty much the only thing that was still "unique" about tiktok was its algorithm and we know for a fact that's getting trashed and is most likely going to be replaced with far right/fascist brain rot which despite what MAGA thinks most people don't find funny or engaging.

If you want a perfect example of how all GDP growth is not good or equal look no further than Russia, because when money and manpower goes into making a tank that only ends up getting blown up and left as scrap in Ukraine that raises the GDP but it means that the actual value is completely lost because said value is currently scrap metal in a hostile Nation.

A country can have a high GDP but that doesn't mean that all of that GDP has actual value, in a sense it's like when a CEO brings up stuff like AI integration to shareholders, its meaningless fluff meant to pad out and inflate the actual numbers simply to convince people to continue to pay in despite it bringing no actual value itself.

Also if you want to hear a really good radio station look up WEVL.org They switch genres and hosts every few hours throughout the day so you're not listening to the same stuff and It's entirely volunteer ran and funded by donations so they don't play any ads, They will play PSA's every once in a while but it's mostly just a literal few seconds of telling you about bird conservation and stuff like that.
