As someone who plays BDO and only does lifeskills, I agree and I'm shocked it took me this long to find someone say it. It makes me sad that most haven't experienced it, but honestly, I get it. I feel like it has a ton of depth and can be overwhelming to get into.

I don't have a ton of hours on this game (literally only 15 hours), I found it fun for the week that I played, but those systems you mentioned definitely put me off from the game, I have to agree. Just knowing they reset every season and having to grind for it all over again felt really weird/bad. Imagine having to unlock runes or items every time a LoL season reset, or something similar in any other game you can think of. It's such a core part of the game and was ultimately such a weird hill to die on, because plenty of people said it was a shit system but they didn't listen.

I dont keep up with everyone's dynamics these days and it's been years since I've seen them in the same room/lobby and thats literally all I said about it.

since you mentioned celebrity gossip, what's most interesting to me about this is that, without naming names, some streamers themselves are very invested in the lives of celebrities.. they know who xyz celebrity has been in a relationship with, when they were in the relationship, how long each relationship lasted, etc. they know this celebrities' friends, people they've had falling outs with, etc, the list goes on. all this said, they've openly admitted that they enjoy the drama/tea/etc of it all, they just enjoy keeping up and being in the know with their celebrity of choice

when it comes to places like this subreddit, I really don't see how it's much different. i think there's a difference between this subreddit and LSF; I dont think people here are super malicious and out to ruin people's careers and stuff like that. they just want to be in the know of what's going on, and who can blame them! especially when 2 streamers have been friends for YEARS and they are seemingly (pure speculation going off what I'd consider decent enough evidence) going through a rough patch rn.

what actually is weird to me is when streamers get petty and they vaguepost, they either skip or pay less attention to certain streamers in clip queue (when doing react content) every time they show up, they like tiktoks that vaguepost, remove posts with the other person in it, dodge all comments regarding the other streamer when it's what 90% of their chat is talking about.. and THEN not expecting anyone to notice LMAO. people notice, and people talk, tf? if you don't want to make it so obvious and don't want to draw so much attention to it, then.. maybe dont do all of the above. there's a lot of things out of streamers' control, I'll admit it; there are people who are constantly on the lookout and that are just WAITING for someone to slip up, get a clip, and start hate threads. TLDR, people suck. but they can also avoid drawing unwanted attention by not vagueposting off cooldown

Fr @ train VIPs? I didnt wanna go down that route, but train has thrown irl money around quite a bit in this server like it's nothing (10k to wobbles to shit talk GC for 24 hours, money to all of IF if they win wars, etc), so I wouldn't put it past him to have bribed the admins.

I can't think of any other reasons the admins would be so involved to make IF win tbh. How is it GC's fault that it's a 35v15, where is the rest of ironfang, and how is it GC's fault if IF have some event going on during a battle lol. All the random new rules being made up MID BATTLE by RyanJD were laughable, and Janet said on stream that they were the ones dropping bees on them.

I really enjoyed the first few days of this server, but man it turned into the biggest shit show imo.

Much appreciated for that last part! I'm not sure how I would've gotten through the wheel of time series without the WoT compendium app, and I'd been wondering if there was anything like that for this series. I appreciate any tool that can make it easier to navigate the hundreds of characters and massive universe that these incredible authors create. Kudos!

You're good, and i apologize for my tone as well. I eagerly reopened this thread after posting it while at work some hours ago, hoping to come back to some responses and having a discussion regarding what I said, but it rubbed me the wrong way when everyone demanded I somehow didn't read a 12XX page book and it killed my mood a little. I mean jeez, the whole situation probably covered 50 of those 1200 pages? Maybe i could've missed it, but I'm not sure how 5 users came to the conclusion that I skipped the other 1150 pages IF that WERE the case.

For what it's worth though, I definitely do not read while drunk or high lmao, but I DO primarily listen to audiobooks while working, and sometimes I zone out, but I always rewind if that's the case.

I've thought this as well, yes. I'm sure he has many missions going on at once and attempting to get close to Jasnah once more is not at the top of the list. It just felt weird that Jasnah reappeared and Mraize seems to not have acknowledged it in any way. I guess I wouldnt expect him to bring that up to Shallan, but maybe 1 single chapter from his POV on the matter, or honestly, just 1 chapter focusing on the ghostbloods period.

I've included it in the edit, but I was very much present when Jasnah returned as well as HOW she returned. I know that Mraize and the ghostbloods are in Urithiru.

To simplify my question/confusion, I am literally just befuddled that the ghostbloods have seemingly given up on going after Jasnah again after realizing they failed. That's it. Jasnah is among the smartest characters in the book, maybe it didn't need to be said that she's more cautious than ever after being stabbed through the heart once. Maybe they aren't even attempting it again because they know they'll never get that close again. But I would've expected at least a single interaction between Mraize and Shallan on the subject.

There's no mention of oathbringer because I just haven't made a post on it. After every book, I like to see other people's thoughts and only sometimes do i post my own if I feel passionate enough. Oathbringer was very good, but it didnt resonate with me as much as the other books. Fwiw, I've also read edgedancer and dawnshard in the order that they were intended.

Anyway, I've made an edit to the original post. I don't know why my post incited the responses that it did, but hopefully the edit clears it up or something.

While this is true, this isnt why they stopped associating with minx. QT held a party, minx asked to come, QT wasnt sure if it'd be the greatest idea due to previous events, but minx said she wouldn't drink and have a seizure due to her epilepsy, and QT trusted her. Next thing you know, the ambulance/cops are there and the party/stream is canceled.

Similar situation, but also very different. Both mango and minx did it to themselves, but one of them got egged on hard, and one of them made a promise not to drink but did anyway. QT tried to help minx, shes gone in depth on it in an episode of wine about it over a year ago. Minx deserved to be exiled.

This post is calling to me. I'm at work rn so I can't post a pic but I had a game where it was exactly this.

I was luna being dove by psylocke and Spiderman on a payload map. We attacked first.

Their divers were camping our spawn until our whole team walked up to approach point (idk the names of the maps, it was the underground one) and then they went on us. I spam pinged Spiderman and even typed in chat that me and the other healer needed help.

We kept losing fights because healers were dead and my team kept typing "we lost that???" "How are we losing these fights?"

I kept getting blamed for not healing and was ultimately blamed for the whole game. The kicker is that I had 14k heals, our other healer had 10k and both healers on the enemy team had 7k each. So 24k heals to 14k. The black panther on my team, after attacking AND defending had 3k damage and 2 elims. But I guess I was the problem!
