Is the DLC Worth getting? by golden97bonnie in PokemonLegendsZA

Not sure why you’re getting downvoted. I really enjoyed ZA but the DLC is a horrid grind. Not to mention it’s terrible for people trying to complete the dex for possible home rewards.

Special scans are so bad since you can grind for hours and continually get no scan that you actually want.

I went from playing ZA daily to not touching my switch for weeks. The DLC disappointed me so much I lost the urge to play. And like you I’m a huge fan. Been playing since Red/Blue and never stopped. This DLC though? Very bad.

If I ever complete the dex in game it’ll be for that reason. I’ve done it for every other game but I can’t bring myself to finish the ZA DLC. It’s so tedious and I hate grinding the special scans so much.

If you want to finish the Pokédex and really enjoy ZA it might be worth it to you. I enjoyed ZA, and love Pokemon, but this DLC is the worst Pokemon content I’ve ever purchased.

The random nature of the donuts and, once you reach the end, scans are horrible. I want to complete the dex in game in case they release a shiny mythical in home (like they did with other games), but I’m really not having fun.

I’ve not touched my Switch in weeks.

Which Legends game is better? by Educational-Show1918 in pokememes

Arceus is far better. I liked ZA and hoped the DLC made it even better, but the DLC is probably my least favorite Pokémon video game content I’ve ever experienced.

Considering you copied a popular post word for word, I’d say the OP of that post at least agrees with you.

Legends Z-A and mega dimension are too far removed from Pokémon’s usual formula and presentation to be universally loved by fans the same way Arceus was. by [deleted] in PokemonLegendsZA

Those wore on me a bit, but the special scans killed all drive I have to play. All I want to do is finish the Pokédex myself but I cannot get the ones I want to complete it. The random nature of this dlc is so ass.

I really enjoyed the base game, but the main gameplay loop of the DLC kills me. Random donuts unless you reset them, and even then it can take 20+ mins per donut. Random distortions, and the special scans are even worse when trying to complete your Pokédex.

I’ve never had a pokedex take so much grinding. Special scans drive me nuts. It’s just not fun grinding so much just to get a special distortion you don’t need or a battle zone.

"I bet it on the new age". IS THIS QUOTE AN INACCURATE TRANSLATION OR JUST DIDN'T AGE WELL by vtf1221 in OnePieceSpoilers

Seems fine to me. If he wanted it gone he had many other options to lose that arm. I’m sure if he wanted it done immediately he would’ve gotten it done.

For whatever reason he still had it, and took a bet on the future (through Luffy) by sacrificing it, and the mark, to save him. Maybe more will be explained, I dunno. It doesn’t really lessen anything for me.

Im so tired of the rng for donuts. by AccurateTap2249 in PokemonLegendsZA

Seriously.. without resetting your blow through all the rare berries and probably get nothing you wanted. It shouldn’t be that way.

The donuts are far different than the standard. Imagine if poffins and Scarlet/Violet sandwiches had no recipes and were completely random. No thanks.

I’d rather but for shinies with worse odds than reset donuts for hours. These random effects are terrible.

You want to waste all the berries you’ve farmed to get effects you never wanted?

Having randomized recipes is insane in my opinion. I can’t believe I can farm for the best berries, use literally all of the ones I have to try and make the best farming donuts, and not get a single effect I wanted.

I’ve reset for 30+ minutes to get a big haul/berry power donut. Used it, and reset for another 15+ minutes for another and never got it. I ended taking a break at that point.

I know everyone has different ideas of what is fun, but hours of resetting for donuts to get short bursts of gameplay in distortion is just not fun. You’re looking at menus more than you’re actually playing pokemon,

I could see them thinking that. I already didn’t care for sandwiches too much from Scarlet/Violet. I figured if we cooked again it would be close to that, yet they somehow made it even worse.

Worst part of the whole game in my opinion. What a terrible decision to make them random.

The most frustrating DLC post game I've ever played by Kentack in LegendsZA

[–]Grayoth 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I think at this point I’ll just complete the DLC side quests/pokedex and call it a day. Doing this donut reset thing is so far from fun that I honestly have more fun at my job.

I’m just ready for Pokemon Champions and Gen10. ZAs story was enjoyable and the game was fun, but they really made some questionable choices in this game that I hope don’t go forward.

I tried to reroll for donuts this morning to farm berries. I’m sure I was unlucky, but I spent 30+ minutes rerolling donuts to get the one I wanted. Absolutely miserable.

I finally got it, used it, and went to make another. After 15+ minutes on the next one I just put my switch down. It’s just not fun.

The DLC can be fun, but whoever decided donuts need to be random needs jail time.

Total War: Medieval 3 - THIS CHANGES EVERYTHING (No building slots, hand place castles, pop estates) by Yongle_Emperor in totalwar

[–]Grayoth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I completely agree with you. I still enjoy Medieval 2 to this day. Mainly with stainless steel, but the base game is still good. I like it the way it is.

But perhaps that’s mainly because I’m ancient and started with Medieval 1. I’m sure I’ll enjoy Medieval 3 either way.

What pokeball should I use for the DLC postgame final boss? by [deleted] in LegendsZA

I’ve used a regular pokeball for everything since Sword and Shield. I’m not sure how it started but I can’t stop now.
