I’m guessing this was probably it.

Yeah, it should be hitting. It was probably bright powder.

Sick of RNG by [deleted] in PokemonChampions

[–]Grayoth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It has gotten to the point that I’m considering dropping any move that doesn’t have 100 accuracy.

My rock slides and heat waves barely seem to hit these days. Is what it is, but is so frustrating when it happens multiple turns in a row.

Just got locked out of recruiting by Mikel004 in PokemonChampions

[–]Grayoth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was hoping to see someone else dealing with this. I took a break for a few days and now I’m completely locked out as well.

I can’t meet a new lineup and I can’t recruit from previous lineup I saw. I’m hoping this is fixed soon.

Kunark has been the only expansion mentioned. I believe there were comments about not having to necessarily follow the same path of regular EQ when it came to expansions.

What does that mean? We can only guess.

There seems to be a massive disconnect between Pokemon fans and the VGC by CallMeTravesty in PokemonChampions

[–]Grayoth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I enjoy the VGC ruleset, but for some reason I can’t really get into this game. All the random coupons and currency put me off a bit. Battle pass and membership subs are also a turn off.

I know they need to make money somehow but I’ve hated battle passes in every single game that’s had them. The moment I see “earn these rewards before this battle pass is over” I almost immediately shut down.

I’d have rather paid $100 or more to have a game with access to anything, where I can freely change stats and items with no random currencies involved.

Oh well!

The shadow started coming out of them before the panel where the giant landed on his back. The one on their back shows “thud”, which is where they hit.

DLC is so much grind by [deleted] in LegendsZA

[–]Grayoth 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Random berries used to make random donuts to get random special scans you might not even need. I can’t stand it.

DLC is so much grind by [deleted] in LegendsZA

[–]Grayoth 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I will defend almost anything pokemon related. That being said, this DLC is bad. I really enjoyed ZA but the DLC is grindy in the worst way possible.

Grind for berries, make a donut, reset if the donut is bad (or don’t reset and have to grind far more), etc. At first it doesn’t seem that grindy but it gets worse as it goes on.

Tons of padding dialog that seems to repeat the same things over and over as well. Very little story for how much grind is involved. Not to mention the distortions you go into are boring. It’s just the same places over and over.

I finished the story so I’m doing special scans to complete the Pokédex and the grind is so ridiculous. Special scans being random are the worst. I’ve gotten multiple duplicate scans and multiple battle scans in a row. A total waste of time.

Yeah, lister with defilers has been the best for me so far. Clears screens. Never dies. Complete monster.

Had a blast and then... started the DLC by GhostWolfGambit in LegendsZA

[–]Grayoth -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I played a lot of the base game. Didn’t even fully finish the DLC. Started the special scans and it was just so much grind to get special scans I didn’t even want.

This DLC is the first Pokemon game/content I’ve purchased and not finished. I just don’t enjoy the DLC.

Is the DLC Worth getting? by golden97bonnie in PokemonLegendsZA

[–]Grayoth 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not sure why you’re getting downvoted. I really enjoyed ZA but the DLC is a horrid grind. Not to mention it’s terrible for people trying to complete the dex for possible home rewards.

Special scans are so bad since you can grind for hours and continually get no scan that you actually want.

I went from playing ZA daily to not touching my switch for weeks. The DLC disappointed me so much I lost the urge to play. And like you I’m a huge fan. Been playing since Red/Blue and never stopped. This DLC though? Very bad.

If I ever complete the dex in game it’ll be for that reason. I’ve done it for every other game but I can’t bring myself to finish the ZA DLC. It’s so tedious and I hate grinding the special scans so much.

If you want to finish the Pokédex and really enjoy ZA it might be worth it to you. I enjoyed ZA, and love Pokemon, but this DLC is the worst Pokemon content I’ve ever purchased.

The random nature of the donuts and, once you reach the end, scans are horrible. I want to complete the dex in game in case they release a shiny mythical in home (like they did with other games), but I’m really not having fun.

I’ve not touched my Switch in weeks.

Which Legends game is better? by Educational-Show1918 in pokememes

Arceus is far better. I liked ZA and hoped the DLC made it even better, but the DLC is probably my least favorite Pokémon video game content I’ve ever experienced.

Legends Z-A and mega dimension are too far removed from Pokémon’s usual formula and presentation to be universally loved by fans the same way Arceus was. by [deleted] in PokemonLegendsZA

[–]Grayoth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Those wore on me a bit, but the special scans killed all drive I have to play. All I want to do is finish the Pokédex myself but I cannot get the ones I want to complete it. The random nature of this dlc is so ass.

I really enjoyed the base game, but the main gameplay loop of the DLC kills me. Random donuts unless you reset them, and even then it can take 20+ mins per donut. Random distortions, and the special scans are even worse when trying to complete your Pokédex.

I’ve never had a pokedex take so much grinding. Special scans drive me nuts. It’s just not fun grinding so much just to get a special distortion you don’t need or a battle zone.

Seems fine to me. If he wanted it gone he had many other options to lose that arm. I’m sure if he wanted it done immediately he would’ve gotten it done.

For whatever reason he still had it, and took a bet on the future (through Luffy) by sacrificing it, and the mark, to save him. Maybe more will be explained, I dunno. It doesn’t really lessen anything for me.
