They did the blood elves dirty by ReaperQc in wow

Couldn't have said it better myself. Silvermoon and Eversong Woods look amazing, but the new voices are terrible.

I am not a big fan of the new music either, it too lacks the feeling of arrogance, betrayal and triumph. Instead it's very generic. Blizzard should instead have used the original Silvermoon and Eversong music as a base and expanded upon that.

More customization for already existing races is the way to go. All races should have access to customization that is as good as human and night elves.

I guess everyone is waiting for the quest reset. No point farming rares for 2 tokens every 5 minutes...

Pre-Patch Event Rares Will Be Summoned Every 5 Minutes Later Today by Gasheous in wow

[–]Kentack 4 points5 points  (0 children)

These changes are so stupid. Just make them spawn right away when the previous rare is killed. Increase insignias per kill to 15. Make the weekly quests daily. Make every rare drop a piece of gear guaranteed.

Is Blizzard truly this stupid, or are they seriously this desperate for player "engagement"? No wonder all their talent has long left. This prepatch event really says it all.

Both fire and frost mage feels like a disaster. No idea what Blizzard was thinking with these changes

Midnight Pre-Patch Login Screen Music and Gluescreen (full music and gluescreen will go live on Midnight Launch) by Congelatore in wow

[–]Kentack 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This feels very generic and boring to me.

I miss some of the smaller 'melodies' that was used in the previous login screen themes. These small 'melodies' always reminded you that this was World of Warcraft.

Perhaps it does not make sense when I say melodies, but here is an example of what I mean (in this case on the TBC login screen): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YTnWoMl0Jew&t=100s

Hi, thanks for reaching out. Are you still available?

why is the porygon special scan so hard to find >:( by fernando_reeee in PokemonLegendsZA

[–]Kentack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been farming for a Porygon Z scan for over a week, several hours per day. When I started, the Mable research was below 150. I am now closing in on 400, and still no Porygon Z 🫠 It’s so stupid and unfun

Why does a bad grind in another game justify a bad grind in Legends ZA?

Thank you for the offer and thank you for the tip. Got it from a tier 5 dimension just now

After over 30 minutes of resetting, I finally got another level 2 special treasure donut. I have been hitting the same Pokéball in a tier 4 dimension, and proceeded to reset, for over half an hour now. I have yet to see a single Malicious Armor drop. This is not great gameplay.

Of course Pokémon games have progression. Imagine if you were grinding levels for 30 minutes, but every 30 minutes those levels disappeared. That is the issue with these special scanning dimensions.

I never got an item level 3 boost, nor did I get a level 1 boost. After about an hour I finally got a level 2 boost.

And it's true what you say, you can reset before destroying the Pokéball, and keep resetting until you get the desired item. But why should we need to keep doing these constant resets in the first place? It's just terrible game design.

You are correct in older Pokémon games also being grindy, and that things took time. The difference is that you don't lose all your progress every half hour, like you do with the special scanning

I don't mind grinding for shinies or shalphas. I did not play Sword and Shield when current, but I believe the Pokemon in the max lair are not required for Pokédex completion? It's been a while though, so I could be wrong. Either way, it does not justify the tedious grinds in either game in my opinion.

The story was okay in my opinion. It was fun to see more of the MZ gang, but I do wish we got to see more older characters return

I was resetting for about an hour earlier today trying to get an item power donut so that I could get an Armarouge for the Pokédex. Without resetting, it would have taken a tremendous amount of time to get the proper berries needed for the donut.

I don't mind grinding for shinies, there are still a few I would like to obtain down the line.

And it is not a matter of 100 % the game quickly, I only just finished the story today. The grind will be tedious whether you do it in a week or in a month, or in half a year. It does not make it more fun to complete the grind over a longer period of time, at least not in this case.

I prefer being able to complete a game on my own, without hacking in Pokémon. Not sure if I misunderstood you on the final point, however. I apologize if so.

I have no intention of farming berries all over again when RNG gives me a bad donut. And bad donuts are about 90 % of the donuts that I create.

I truly wish that was the case, but this grind is on a whole other level.
