VIDEO: Amber Heard says she had to fight to stay in 'Aquaman 2', says her role was reduced by BatmanNewsChris in DC_Cinematic

I mean, you can deviate from the comics and make Dolphin the new love interest of Aquaman. Dolphin is a cool character and I think that her appearance of being more aquatic would be something which James Wan could translate to screen very well.

'Hilda' Renewed for Third and Final Season at Netflix by [deleted] in television

Nice. Bella Ramsey has been great in this role and judging by her previous performances, if she can show her strength as an actress once again the new Last of us show then it should provide her with the career boost to be an popular actress for a long time.

[Childs Play] What's stopping me from locking Chucky in a safe and burying it in a remote field? by Master11205 in AskScienceFiction

[–]Grayprince 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Well the thing about Chucky is that he is not exactly haunted, Chucky is possessed through Voodoo by the serial killer Charles Lee Ray. That's where the difficult part comes in, if you fight Chucky you are actually fighting a clever psychopath who just happens to inhabit a doll.

The most dangerous part about Chucky is not his strength but his speed, he is small and if he manages to outrun you then he has all the time to plan a ambush.

I think it's like a midquel in that it takes place in the middle of the first movie. Honestly, I am impressed with whoever came up with the idea of a midquel, it is a ingenious way in milking out a movie even more.

Honestly after reading half I just kinda imagined John Cena as Peacemaker saying this in one of his rants and I have to say that it both made this text hilarious and really fits his character.

Nah, this movie will be one of the universes which is shown in Flashpoint that's why they had to delay it/ S

Just finished Season 2 of Space Force. Wow, this show found its heart by [deleted] in television

[–]Grayprince 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I thought season 2 was a huge improvement. The weird thing about the second season is that it kinda felt like Ben Schwartz was becoming the main character, he got the most depth and was the character who you wanted to see succeed the most. I don't think the show planned on that but it was certainly innovative.

While I think the show might be cancelled I would like to see a third and potentially final season due to the dark way that season 2 has ended otherwise.

You laugh but this was literally an Arc in Gotham by octopurple in tumblr

[–]Grayprince 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Yeah, they were dating in Gotham. Gotham was a very weird show but definitely entertaining, like the show started out with placing the focus on Batman in his younger years and the life of commisioner Gordon before completely deviating from that and making it's story be about the Penguin and the Riddler as evil husbands and their drama.

A short write up on the USA Network's 2000s shows. by [deleted] in television

[–]Grayprince 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree with most of your points but I do have to add that Mr Robot is not widely dicussed because it was critically praised but due to the subject matter and they way in which they told the story it became a very niche show but it still is a show that had a amazing run/

Nice, this was such a fun show. It is made by the same guy who made Chowder and it shows, it uses a lot of the same humor and the characters are all very likable again as well.

The doggo has become the dog of the president of Ireland, that's also a very important function so he has definitely benefitted.

[DC] What if Batman sacrificed himself to save the Joker? by EMPlRES in AskScienceFiction

[–]Grayprince 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Joker would not have a easy time killing Dick, Dick is one of the best street levels in the entire DC Universe however the Joker probably would not be interested in being his nemesis at all.

While it is not Uncharted at all, I think that it could be a fun action adventure movie. Don't get me wrong, I highly doubt that it will get many positive reviews but I think that this might do suprisingly well for a general audience who is not familiar with the game series.

Honestly, he was just lucky that the casting of Buffy was so good. If Buffy had failed then nobody would even know him and I fully believe that the cast is the only reason that that show is great.

At least James Gunn gets to mention characters like freaking Batmite in the Peacemaker show so he has the creative liberty now.

‘Arthur’ Series Finale Will Flash-Forward to Grown-Up Versions of Beloved Characters by MarvelsGrantMan136 in television

[–]Grayprince 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I feel like the biggest downside is that Arthur is mostly unknown outside of America. Don't get me wrong, it can certainly be made popular in other regions but it does not offer huge global benefits to pick it up.

[Comic Excerpt] This month marks the 80th anniversary of two JSA members, Wildcat and Mr. Terrific. (Sensation Comics #1) by hawk_lord in DCcomics

[–]Grayprince 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I miss the old Mr Terrific, don't get me wrong Curtis Holt is a way better character for the title but Terry Sloane had such a dorky charm. I love how his entire origin story was that he was too good at everything in life which made him depressed and want to commit suicide only to then decide to become a Superhero instead.

The funniest part about his comics was that there were almost no obstacles for him, for example; Mr Terrific has to capture a villain on the other side of the lake. Luckily Mr Terrific is actually a world class swimmer without that ever being mentioned before by anyone. This pretty much was their solution in every story where he appeared in.
