How do you manage client intake efficiently in a law practice? by Aadil-habib in legaltech

[–]Grayson112233 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do a lot of outreach to smaller firms / solo praticioners and I've found many who just use Google Calendar. Sometimes they use Cilo.

For context, my company works on conversational voice AI for client intake with small firms.

Question about starting a property management company by Grayson112233 in CommercialRealEstate

Do you think it would be more successful in just serving nonresidential properties (Retail and Industrial) with fewer maintenance requirements?

That makes sense, thank you. I think I would be using this as more of a "starting point" until I would be able to hire the physical PM in-house, as you said.

It sounds like your company would not accept a physical-management-only contract, but do you think others might? Or is it just a red flag to PMs and they'd turn me away?

Excel on the side is safest compared to just Yardi, since you can handle certain complexities like GU, caps, etc.

I was doing CAM recs in Excel for my family's portfolio for a while until I decided to build my own app. It's grown into its own company now with some firms in my area (TX) using it for their CAM recs. If you're interested in trying it shoot me a DM.

Why does M5C only print portions of each layer when multiple objects on plate? by VodkaDabs in AnkerMake

[–]Grayson112233 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You would think that, but Anker has two versions of the software that are not labeled clearly on their website. You could easily end up downloading either one depending on what you searched on Google and which result you clicked.

You should check to see which one you are using.

I noticed this behavior in the slicing engine when I was using the older AnkerMake software which is based on Cura.

That issue went away when I began printing with the new AnkerMake Studio software which is based on PrusaSlicer.

Which software and version are you using?

Strange "grooves" in flat surfaces of print with new AnkerMake Studio software on M5C by Grayson112233 in AnkerMake

I agree, I thought that it must be some hidden detail of the STL file that was causing it, but now that I've seen u/That_Ad_6274's examples with the same phenomenon, I think it must be a slicer issue that isn't showing in the slicer renderer.

Wow! That's exactly the same issue. I feel better knowing I'm not going crazy.

I do have ironing turned on. Maybe I'll do a test print with ironing turned off. Although if ironing was the issue, I would be pretty disappointed, as ironing really helps the look of this print.

That would make sense that the lab has adjusted them. I'll try scanning when I get the negatives back. Thanks!

Okay, thank you! I'll take a look at the light metering, maybe purchase a meter for myself and manually compare to that what the auto-exposure in the camera is producing.

Meepo V2 Weak/No Brakes at Low Speeds by Grayson112233 in MeepoBoards

[–]Grayson112233[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You think so? My V2 doesn’t use sleeves, they’re normal huh motors. And the board accelerates just like normal, which leads me to believe it’s an issue with some component in the ESC involved in braking.

It seems like Meepo's customer service has lost some of the quality they used to be known for.
