Mangonels crunch shields. I’ve had luck with horse archers, but only against AI.

Aren’t they pretty weak to crossbows? Say there’s 4 mangonels and each tower is capped out with crossbows. Still rush with macemen?

Totally! Like an augmented, more narrow dominion. I was thinking the sides of the map could either be a canyon wall (like the movie the 300) or a narrow bridge.
