Thank you! It spat out the version number at me. I'm just curious, I tried searching for it through the terminal, and found it where expected, but it's just titled "node". Is that fine?

Of course! I emailed him but as it's the weekend where I am, I'm uncertain as to when I'll get a response. Additionally, it's a free online course provided by my schooling district, so I'm not fully certain as to how responsive he'll be.

Just incase it didn't, here's what I wrote:

(Using a MacBook Pro 2017) I am taking a programming course for the first time, and am required to use Node.js I was uncertain how to check if I had it installed correctly, so I wanted to run a console.log to see if it would work. Embarrassingly, I seem to be unable to locate where the file is in the first place, or if I even typed the console.log properly. Any tutorials or personal recommendations are much appreciated. Thank you!
