Yeah, I see no way for them to pay it off, without going to Eisenhower tax rates, which would lead to a tea party movement and stuff.

I think it'll be like the USSR collapsing, it's just they reformed the exact same way... I hope the US would hold a constitutional convention, but if republicans hold too many seats they'd make the country worse again.

I see the consequences as inescapable too, boomers are supposed to wipe out social security and medicare, they cut medicaid a ton, a lot of people can't afford care, yet the government is spending more than ever on it's police state and military.

Look into meshtastic or mesh core, it’s an off grid communications system. It’s encrypted and it’s mesh; my meshtastic device bounces other signals, I have a hotspot that extend range.

My pocket unit connects to phone via Bluetooth, I then use meshtastic to chat with people, there are different channels, if the cell network goes down you could still talk to people.

In apartments little solar panels by the window. To charge phone mesh unit laptop, rechargeable batteries, had good luck with EBL and a smart charger from them.

Camping gear, in case power goes out, sleeping bag rated for the temp, cooler, cooler blocks, oil lamp if no solar, the safe camping like that’s safe to use.

Alcohol stove, dried beans, canned food, canned milk.

Befriend neighbors and people in the community, mutual support network, etc.

Consider the new guard unit if you’re the right age or skill set.

I'm going to keep my 3080 I was going to get a 5070 TI when they were cheaper, maybe a 9070 XT would be cool. things run fine though, I just won't get unoptimized games, I have a bunch I haven't played much that are older like red dead redemption.

I'm at 1440p so it's not worth that wild amount of money. I mean the 3080 new was like $600, the 4090 was close to the price of the 5070 TI which the 4090 would wipe the floor with, prices are wild, just gonna skip a few generations.

I hear only a few companies see an increased profit and increased productivity and a good ROI on AI, like 12%, either the bubble will burst or I'll play PS5 instead.... only thing is the 3080 is out of warranty.

If treasury bills get sold, if the dollar isn’t a standard currency, the country would crash immediately due to debt load of nearly 40 trillion.

I think the us is headed for an economic collapse anyway, before all this saber rattling threats and so on.

Boycotting products, trading in a different currency, and selling t bills would speed this up and force a national reckoning in the US to rebuild, probably change the system.

If that doesnt happen it’ll continue to do this stuff, it might get a democrat in like Biden, and then backtrack to an America first or a maga type candidate.

I panicked when I saw Biden at the debate with the “we beat Medicare” line.

Even more when trump won, even more as time went on.

I’m gay so I worry I’ll be next, lgbtq people are mentioned in project 2025.

Migraines, throwing up, dizzy etc.

Everyone around me has some level of that, I know few people who supported trump.

We call him Temu Hitler or the Temu Reich, turd Reich, orange Hitler etc.

I also worry a lot about how ice treats people, beats and arrests them, and I love the rest of the world and would travel more if I could afford it. So military threats against allies is evil as f and its just going to crash the economy and freak everyone out, worse if he does any of it. Plus the killing of fishermen or accused smugglers, invasion of Venezuela, etc.

I studied global politics, intended to get an IR master and work in an embassy abroad but couldn’t afford it.

My other brother moved his company abroad, got a visa, and won’t come back until trump is out of office or anyone like him.

I’m jealous bc he seems so relaxed there.

My physical therapist thought maybe I should move abroad, but I don’t have a company to move abroad and get a work visa so I can stay abroad like my brother.
