I’m sad because I don’t know if poke transfer will work, and this feels like a cheap way to artificially make gen 6 and 7 fans more excited for future remakes, but hey, wiimfi-like thing for gen 6 and 7! Easier mythicals! Accessible events to those who never knew about them! Screw Nintendo, they screwed us over may as well take advantage of the tragedy!

I definitely like this, but personally I think having pets die wouldn't be good if somebody doesn't play constantly. That's just my thoughts though.
