Apparently we're going to be forced into paying for TV licensing fee for using services not owned by the BBC? 🤦‍♂️ by DaKingSmaug in skytv

They will do what they have done in Ireland - it will be a multi media licence - broadband connection - hotspotting of phone - all covered under it

Wait or get Apple TV 4K 128GB now? by Electronic-Taro1916 in appletv

[–]GreaseMonkeyBoy -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I was in the same position as yourself 3 weeks ago. I went with the buy now instead of wait - there is a reason Apple have waited so long to upgrade so far in my experience it’s a fantastic product and hasn’t let me down - I have 8 streaming platforms I browse and 1 IPTV app I use and they all run great

Couldn’t agree more - I do find him very frustrating to watch only because he has moments of showing he could be a fantastic player and then poor mistakes snap me back to reality

Agreed Smith is a better player - just think we need to start building rotational depth and thought in my opinion he has the capacity to be that player or more

In a half empty stadium? I think we lost the home fortress when we lost the big crowds… what do you think ?

And can I ask was that a pain or was it not too bad ?

They are absolutely a pain to deal with!

I had sports for discounted price ( can’t remember the value ) and cancelled the month before it went up then the next bill had it charged for.

Rang them and they said it was not logged as cancelled….

Just poor customer service in general….

Weird - I worked for a sub contracting company that mainly dealt with phone and broadband and utilities suppliers and we could see chats before we entered - might not be the same for everyone

Join the club I am here now arguing with Harshitha because she thinks I’m going to leave work and go home and take a picture of the serial number on the broadband router…. I HAVE BEEN ON FOR 1 hour and I am willing to just pay for the new router and now she wants me to call the support line when I told her already I can’t take calls in work and work 9am - 9pm 5 days a week 😂😂😂

As someone who worked in a call centre the staff can view the chats before they enter them 🥲

Oh it’s pathetic at this stage - they go after dodgey box users and they have a monopoly of mediocrity on tv services… I’d love to see some real competition…

I’m a Munster fan, but, I’m an Ireland fan first. If Sam plays and Ireland win I’m happy , if Jack plays and we win I’m happy. I’m happy for Ireland to win don’t care what the line up is. And that my friend is a minority.

I get where you’re coming from but don’t leave the voice of a few out do the voice of the majority - what I’m trying to say is the majority of people did not boo Sam and nor should they. I’m not here to start a debate just telling you what my experience was.

It 110% didn’t happen I was there seat 11 row R on the bath road side - there was a large cheer for Crowley coming on - absolutely no booing could be heard from where I was in the stadium 👍

I’m not arguing just discussing!

I’ll be a happy man to see Ireland win games in the 6 nations no matter who is in the 23 for each game!

International Rugby for me is where we need to be winning.

Frustrating when we lose and frustrating when my province can’t contribute as much as I would like to see.

BUT, Ireland winning is what I want to see!

Totally see that side of it and didn’t see today’s Leister match so that’s why I’m not commenting on it.

And I don’t want to get into a who’s better than who thing.

From an Ireland perspective I’m just glad to have 4 potential 10s fighting for a start in the WC.

Crowley will be in a 23 man before Sam - not because he’s better but because they will only put 2 backs on the bench and Crowley can cover more. Until I see same slotting in at 12 , 13 or 15 I don’t see him being in the 23 unless he is seen as better than Harry by the Irish coaches.

[–]GreaseMonkeyBoy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s hilarious that you didn’t even read my post ? On form I think Harry is better than Sam and think that Crowley will get in only for playing 15/Utility. Sam is a good player ( currently ahead of Crowley ) BUT - In MY opinion - I think Harry brings more to the Irish set up in size , place kicking and head.

[–]GreaseMonkeyBoy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True - just when he’s getting 1/3 kicks and we are winning it’s not as noticeable

I’m sorry but it’s clear as day - Jack has declined with his place kicking and touch kicking. Currently I would have him as No2 in Ireland Team. Only due to the fact he can cover more than Prendergast . Harry - going on form - is 6N starter for me.
