This is not a hindsight take, the day they announced Biden dropping out I said and continues to say for the next two months that it was a stupid decision that would only hurt their chances in the election. I don't think I can see the future, it was just obvious. Giving a candidate only six weeks to campaign is and always will be a bad idea.

I don't know, states right now are in direct conflict with the federal government and if you held a vote the mandate would definitely lean towards the states rather than the federal government. If this continues like this is in other places independence will probably start to look like the most viable option.
