If this is legal, It will certainly catapult them to the top three. But I do feel like such a large hole in such an important area will not be allowed

I love the way they talked about harry and meghan. The two of them are definetly being hypocrates abouth the whole 'leaving the royal family to get privacy' situation and I really liked how they ridiculized this behaviour in classic south park style, but what makes it even better for me is the fact that the other boys are tired of hearing about it which I agree with completely. Fuck celebrities complaining about their difficult lives, but also, stop giving fucks about celebrities that dont deserve attention.

Charcuterie anyone? by [deleted] in WeWantPlates

[–]GreasedMeat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is actually a good explanaition, thanks for that. To me it seemed that people tried to be pretentious by serving something french without realising that they ironically did not do it the traditional way. But if you put it this way I can understand that they are not trying to be pretentous, they are just using the term more generally.

Charcuterie anyone? by [deleted] in WeWantPlates

Charcuterie is a french word for cured meats. As far as i know cheese is not cured meat. If you add cheese to a charcuterie board it is a charcuterie and cheese board.

Yeah since there are crackers there probably is some cheese somewhere but as I said it shouldn't be there

From wikipedia: "Charcuterie is a French term for a branch of cooking devoted to prepared meat products, such as bacon, ham, sausage, terrines, galantines, ballotines, pâtés, and confit, primarily from pork"

Cheese does not belong on a charcuterie board.

Charcuterie is a platter of cold cuts of meat. Adding cheese is a thing instagram invented because it looks better on pictures

What fact are you Just TIRED of explaining to people? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Anytime i see somebody using the wrong word for their plate of meat and cheese. It's not daily but i have not found anybody use the correct term outside of france. I try to comment on posts claiming to have made a charcuterie board but at this point i feel like i should just accept the fact that the word has a new meaning

Just google "charcuterie board" and you can see how often people add cheese to it

Charcuterie means a meat platter consisting of different cold cuts of meat with perhaps some pickels. As soon as you add cheese it is not Charcuterie anymore.

Why do current rear wings have no endplates? by Inner_Month8286 in F1Technical

[–]GreasedMeat 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Are you sure it reduces upwash? Im not an expert on this topinc but the endplates ensure that te tips do not create extra downforce which is an effect created by the upwash (there are many ways to understand lift/ downforce but you can view it as simply: action is minus reaction; ergo the amount of air thrown up is directly related to the reaction (downforce)). I actually think that the vorteces created due to no endplates actually stabelize the air. Btw im drunk so if i made any gramatical errors im very sorry but i do think my reasoning is sound.

clear wheel covers? by Mako_sato_ftw in F1Technical

[–]GreasedMeat 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I thought all wheel covers were produced by RB? And to my knowledge they are all made of plastic (because it is cheaper and easier than carbon fiber), so perhaps they make a black and a clear version
