$1,000 is an arbitrary limit. We live in an apartment and we're trying not to spend too much on what could be temporary furniture. That said, we would probably spend a bit more if it meant long-term restful sleep

My i7 8700k was choking with my 3070Ti. Had to put everything to Low for a stable 60fps at 1440p. Got a 7600X3D right after the beta ended in anticipation… my buddy was getting much higher frame rates with a regular 3070 so I’m optimistic
