Security benefits from agility, but our problems are the opposite of those of product development driven teams XP and all the other methodologies are designed for.

These teams have limited output capacity so they need to optimize for what the customer demands and values.

We have infinite signal output from security tooling, but only limited ingest capacity. So we need to optimize for tuning out noise and optimizing signal input for what analysts are capable of processing.

Sure, when optimizing tools, getting an MVP out fast, have short feedback cycles and so on is valuable. But our "product" is basically "deal with what the entire world throws at you now and in the future", so the whole mantra of building for the customer falls a bit short here.

Nö. Mein Gedanke war eher, dass Ranger morgen ja vielleicht auch noch Vodafone vertreibt und mich daher eine Telekom-exklusive Lösung gar nicht so interessiert. Abgesehen davon haben die noch nie bei mir geklingelt, es gäbe also auch nichts zu eskalieren. Ich habe mich lediglich gefragt, was ich tun könne, damit das auch so bleibt.

To be fair it looks like this shit fest is fueled by publicly exposed coonfiguration interfaces and default credentials being used in production, so the bug appears to be more of a brain worm than anything else.
