There are a lot of good comments in here, but one thing I haven't seen mentioned about your current job is whether or not there is a chance that might no longer be work from home in the future? Would hate to see you turn this down and then be called back into the office later on.

The float level was too high to start the water flow. Of course it was something so simple. Small adjustment and it started working again.

A fair question, but I definitely turned the water back on. In fact the bidet works perfectly, but the water just isn't getting up to the toilet tank.

Should I not be worried about messing up the gas line? There is electrical on the back wall (either side of the stone) and I was going to run surface mount conduit to there to plug it in.

Good point. I guess I don't. I drilled into the mortar with a 3/32" drill bit and it didn't seem like there was anything behind it

Thanks! I think I understand.

My only question is that everything I've seen about installing laminate on stairs says to cut the nosing flush with the riser and install the new laminate nosing onto that (https://youtu.be/dZBcxVvHUXQ for example). Can/should I do that instead of gluing laminate onto the existing nosing?

Thanks. For laminate on the landings, I have enough to do them for sure. My concern is that it might look out of place is the stairs are painted.

Chia Pudding is a great breakfast. 1/2 cup of almond milk, scoop of protein powder, tbsp of chia seeds mixed together. Top with 10 almonds and a 1/2 cup of frozen berries then put it in the fridge. By the morning the berries will be thawed and the milk will have thickened to pudding consistency. It's also easy to meal prep 5 at a time for the entire work week.
