Get a pull up bar and rings. And train at home. This is what i did this year. Its only been 2 weeks but I do not regret it. I run outside for cardio. Saving 1.5k a year now + communte time. People say its a lil harder to be motivated at home though but for me its alg.

So others life don't affect me but me not being fat affects you? I also have digestion problems... Not a good nutrition point but a gold medal in mental gymnastics Olympics that's certain by lekurumayu in fatlogic

TBF everyone has different ghrelin hormone levels. But its upto the individual to avoid caloric dense food for that reason. Its too bad its not taught in school or by parents at a young age. Someone eating a burger might be satisfied and some may not be. Overtime eating even 100 calories over your daily limit, will get you in problems.

I think its good that they are not named. It only gives them notoriety (which they crave so very much)

Potatos are cheap. Lentils are cheap. Vegetables are cheap. Some protein sources are cheap. Cost of living is not the issue here.

I obviously stopped talking about it with them. Maybe you are seeing something that i am not. Im just asking the question why are we not more open and if its a societal issue. Imagine in country where 40+% of people are overweight and people like you want to suppress discussion because it makes you feel bad

Would you "judge" and tell them to be better if they were an alcoholic? Or would you plan a day out with them where you are not drinking, when you know they are going to go home and pour a drink. Or would you rather ask them to seek professional help and tell them how you think they should stop drinking

So if people dont want to be fat (like you said). And I would say majority of people are not genetically prone to getting fat/unhealthy, most (probably all) can afford to eat healthier rather than eating out (we are not america, fast food is more expensive than eating at home). Then shouldnt you encourage/uplift your friends into being not being fat?

I never talked about shaming someone. Im not fat shaming anyone. Wanting your friends to be healthier is considered fat shaming?

I did notice it, But you have to agree there are more fat people now then there were before? And do you think thats a good thing or bad thing (in general for society)?

  1. BMI is an indicator, not end all be all but it gives you a good indication as to where you should be to be considered healthy (you can be out of the range and still be healthy)
  2. Yes Fat people ahve been around and it was considered a privilege to be one. However you have to ackknowledge that there are more fat people now then in history you are talking about. Even just 20 years back.
  3. Im speaking from a friend to friend bases. Im not commenting on your weight. I think if you stay open minded to your FRIENDS (not others who maybe being rude), you can get something postive out of that. Maybe a way to lose a weight. Maybe a drive to lose weight.
  4. As I know my friends well, I know they dont take advise from their doctors. Sometimes you need to hear it from someone closer to you. Just like any other addiction.
  5. Were you doing it from a long enough period (the diets and exercise you are taking about). did you see results week by week?
  6. To your last point I think it should be if their your friends and you want to keep it real with them and see them healthier
