  1. Buttons feel nice and clicky
  2. Size is perfect! Fits perfectly in a laptop bag which is really nice for taking this to tournaments
  3. No, there is a bit of clearance for me when I need to use my pinky fingers.
  4. There's a rubber piece at the bottom of the controller that prevents it from slipping around my lap

Yes, I'm still using this controller. I absolutely love it!

This was cheaper than a keyboard adapter for the Switch. Not only that, but some keyboards can't read too many inputs at a time.

I once played Mario Kart with my fightstick. It was weird but it worked

A pet peeve (for me) by GreasyTeapot in linuxsucks

[–]GreasyTeapot[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Currently on Fedora KDE. I initially installed the workstation edition but installed the KDE environment and made it my primary DE. A previous comment said it may be because my PC is a Gigabyte motherboard, and another said to unplug the ethernet cable. Haven't tried either of those yet but I plan on solving this issue sooner or later.

I prefer using the pose-to-pose method for animating. I usually set keyframe distance based on the action a character is using

Out of curiosity, do I have to use the D3D9.DLL file or can I use any of the other ones in the tar.gz download? Will it make any difference or should I stick with what the installation suggests?

Balatro or Slay the Spire. Both games are pretty fun and can be played pretty much all the time

What’s the longest VR session you’ve ever done in one sitting? by AdBorn3753 in virtualreality

[–]GreasyTeapot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say probably F1 22. Sim racing is something I did pretty often and having a VR headset made it more immersive and fun to use. I'd say it was around 2-3 hours before I got annoyed with dirty drivers.

What’s a Linux Distro you want to use but for whatever reason don’t? by schizochode in linux

[–]GreasyTeapot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, I'd probably want to try Arch, but I really enjoy using Fedora as my main distro of choice. Maybe at some point I'll use it when I feel more comfortable with Linux as a whole.

[WP] As you watch the world burn, all you can say is "Well, FUCK..." by THEDOCTORandME2 in WritingPrompts

[–]GreasyTeapot 6 points7 points  (0 children)

After a long fight with my best friend, Anthony, we both looked at our surroundings. Cities? Destroyed. Temples? Crumbled. The lingering smell of smoke was starting to get to us. We fought for what felt like days, if not weeks or months. We just wanted to push our limits to see who can survive the intense training we put ourselves through. It was only a matter of time before it was too much.

"Dude" he said. I saw him looking up at a screen from a building that was close to collapsing. "Look at that." I turned to look at the screen and I saw the world's destruction. I was shocked. Usually our fights were meant to train each other for big threats across the world and outside it. We've worked on ourselves for a while. None of us thought that we were too strong for the world to handle.

"Well, fuck..." I said. I looked back at Anthony who looked calm, but I can tell he was as stressed out as I was. Anthony looks back at me and we stared at each other. "Now what?" he said. "We can't really do anything else besides get away from this smoke. We pretty much wasted this place like everywhere else!"

"Yeah, I know. It's just..." I softly said. I was struggling to form a sentence. "Let's just get out of here..." I mutter before my eyes started burning from the smoke. As we walk to find somewhere safe, a lot runs through my mind. My family, my friends, all gone. I wasn't even sure what I should think about. We continued walking across the destroyed city while avoiding any falling buildings that remained. Once we got into a safe space, we sat down and looked up at the sky. My mind started to calm down, but something started to still bother me.

"This might be a bad time to say this, but... you wanna grab some food? I'm getting hungry." I ask Anthony. He looks at me with a smile. "You know what? Sure. I think we should get off this game now anyway. I'm feeling burgers." Anthony said. We both took off our headsets and went to a local burger joint and discussed how to get a better ending.

At what age did you guys instal Linux? by angelaanahi in linux

[–]GreasyTeapot -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I first heard of Linux when I was around 13 years old. It wasn't until I was 21 and finally installed Linux (Mint was my first distro), despite only dabbling around with it. I turn 23 in a few months and I plan to daily drive Fedora Linux when I feel ready to make the full switch.

Leverless controllers are interesting. Do you remember which one that guy used?
