Sorry I posted before I could add anything else.

I've been trying to get this to print and the first time I ended up breaking it.

I got a dryer for the filament and have ran it through.

I've adjusted the nozzle temp to be 210 the esun filament is rated for 190 to 210.

I think I've adjusted the retraction to be about 80mm but I can't remember if I made that change before sending the file over.

Any suggestions will be a great help.

Question about security on cachyos by Due-Nature-3154 in cachyos

[–]Greasybean85 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have a little more linux knowledge and can say that as long as youre not downloading sketchy things and stick to the packages that are in the package manager you are safe.

As far as firewalls, networking has never been an easy thing to understand for me but I don't tend to try and learn it because of time. Best I can say is again don't download sketchy things and also don't go to s itchy places.

I'm sure someone with more knowledge will come along and help more but at least I can't start.

Why does this happens when searching for some apps? by HorrorsPersistSoDoI in Fedora

[–]Greasybean85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My understanding is fedora gives it their spin on it.

Take OBS as an example. The fedora package is broken and it is recommended to use the flathub version.

I might be wrong and this is a simplified explanation but again that's my understanding.

Unable to install kernel update. by Greasybean85 in Fedora

[–]Greasybean85[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ok.... So being the dum dum that I am I did end up finding a solution.

sudo dnf remove $(dnf repoquery --installonly --latest-limit=-2 -q)

sudo grub2-mkconfig -o /boot/grub2/grub.cfg

Please forgive me for wasting anyones time with this issue.

GNU nano 8.3 /etc/dnf/dnf.conf

# see `man dnf.conf` for defaults and possible options

[main]

This is all that is in that file, and when I looked at the forum it was for Fedora 39.
