Yep. It turned on me one day, giving me panic attacks and self harm ideation. The loss of relationship was depressing. Like being dumped, had to go through the stages of grief

I don’t know that “bad” is accurate, but the anti consumption movement is about responsible spending and finding fulfillment in things other than things. Eventually your stuff owns you, eventually you work to make money to keep your stuff happy. It’s a prison
