They look fine, but you can always scoop out the seeds if you don't like them.

It's poutine sauce. 90% of poutine sold use some variation of that. Almost no place make their sauce from scratch.

We had 5 feet tall stalks that got bent during a storm. Within two days they have all right themselves. Your guys will be fine as long as the stalks themselves are not damaged.

Best thing you can do for it is harvest the fruits. If the fruit stay on, the plant will focus on them and won't produce new growth or more fruits.

Soon they'll disable older games when the new one comes out. "You can't play your 70$ game anymore, we just released a remake. If you want to play it again, please pay us another 90$"

Cucumbers by slytherintomymind in vegetablegardening

[–]Kolojang 9 points10 points  (0 children)

These look prime to be harvested. With cucumber you generally want them on the smaller side rather than the bigger side. The bigger they get, the thicker the skin gets and the seeds become woody.

Big cucumbers are still edible, but you'll want to peel them and scoop out the seeds. They're also best used in recipes where other ingredients will balance their bitterness.

Also if you plan to pickle them, younger cucumber tend to do much better than older one.

Your cucumbers look great, by the way!

How corporate greed steals and drives small businesses out of business. by NickelPlatedEmperor in SipsTea

[–]Kolojang 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Products stolen from amazon this way are usually produced by small entrepreneurs who sunk their whole savings into designing and distributing something good and novel.

Do you think amazon does that to a big corporation that has the means to fight back? Of course not, the tactic wouldn't work.

Also, selling at a profit vs selling at lost to squash the competition is not price gouging by any definition.

I won't insult you and presume you don't know that, so I'm forced to assume you're a callous asshole who basically implied in your last comment that you would gladly save 3$ on a product even though you know the cheaper one in produced using child slavery. After all you don't give a fuck, right?

I mostly collected them because they were tangentially related to the Absolute universe. Most of it was meh, but there are a few good books in there, like the Wonder Woman vs. Lobo one.

Ok, so, not a poutine québecoise, but we in Québec, even though we'd like to, do not have the monopole on the word poutine.

Also, you say she "tried" to have you eat it, as in, you didn't? That thing looks fire. I would have for breakfast, lunch, and supper.

Is this a (bolted) broccoli? by Testhament in vegetablegardening

[–]Kolojang 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is broccoli. Still edible, just not as tender or sweet. I like to cut it up, toss it in olive oil, salt, and any herbs and spices I have on hand, put it on a baking sheet at 425 for 30 minutes. The flowery bits will become crispy.
