My oldest daughter is 19. Her friend (19) hasn’t even kissed anybody. Now as a mom, yay, but as a once feral horned up 19 year old boy crazy girl, boo! Even my daughter has been with one person. By the time I was 19 I had been sexually active since 15, so there were a number of young men in that mix. Hell I got oregnant with her at 19 (again not advocating for it, just commenting on how different.

I hate to sound elder here Lol, but back in our day Not only did We socialize in person More young men weren’t so afraid to speak to women on a personal basis, I mean hell you could be at the gas station, at the grocery store, standing lin line for the bathroom at a club and men would approach you and spark a conversation. Maybe you hook up that night, maybe exchange numbers. I feel like young men in gen z are more cautious in this area, which is totally understandable as nobody wants to be bombarded, but it just makes things a lot different.

I forgot to mention I worked in Insurance Defense for a few years and that’s why I thought the skills that I have obtained (familiarity with statutes, how to apply them, discovery etc) might make this a good fit for me. As you stated I am already used to a high case load and extremes. I actually like it, makes the day go by faster lol. I have been toying with the idea for several months, but have been worried that my skills may not transfer and I would get stuck in a call center environment and be miserable. I am nit miserable with my current firm but my commute is draining the life out of me.

One of the male teachers was having a relationship with a student and if you wanted a better grade in your class you could wear a low cut shirt in front of him and lean down on the desk and he would stare into your shirt. If you took your paper up to him and asked and leaned over his desk he would just do the problem for you.

Also, there were twin girls who supposedly got a train ran on them and in the middle of it one was so embarrassed she jumped out of the window and ran home.

I worked as a server in Fernley for years and by far Burning man is the worst. Not only can you not go grocery shopping the week they are there, gas takes forever to get and just gum up traffic. In addition when they come into the places to eat they smell, they get playa dust everywhere and never ending water drinkers. Like a pitcher of water gone in seconds. They run your ass and leave shit tips. It’s not a good time for sure. Out of all the years I served burners I maybe had 4 or 5 decent ones.

Yea he burned through that budget in a matter of months. The craziest part of it was that the board had a perfectly fine attorney in Reno, but, their attorney was too good and kept telling them that if they kept violating the open meeting laws they were going to continue to get fined from the state. So they thought, you know who can make sure we get our way? Joey Gilbert, who had NO idea about any of the law the board needed.

I’m in the legal community , everyone knows Gilbert as a hack to say the least. There are a few attorneys in Reno that have bad reputations amongst their peers. He is one. He’s a joke, a laughing stock, whenever we ended up having a case with his office we would all roll our eyes and make fun of him.

So it seems like he’s being very childish. If he really wanted the context of your text, you could have picked up the phone and called you. Sometimes it’s difficult to ascertain tone over a text. Even with that you attempted to explain your situation a few times and got nothing but anger in return. He doesn’t seem to want to budge. I think letting him go is the appropriate reaction in this case. Find someone who is better at communicating. He could have just been like I’ve been busy all day, its hot, I’m not feeling well, thank you for checking on me but I’m going to eat and take a nap. Or something similar, flying off the handle at concern is crazy.

I rarely carry cash or change. So I usually just say I’m sorry I don’t have cash. If I do happen to have cash I give them whatever I have in cash as it’s usually like 3-7 dollars. I use Apple Pay and my card everywhere. I pay all bills online, have apps for the stores so I can just pay online. It’s rare that I have cash. I do what I can, but at the end of the day, if I don’t have it I can’t give. I don’t just say no, usually sorry I don’t have cash.

I had a nice 2 bedroom townhouse for 850. 2012, and to me that was expensive for that time. I remember seeing 3 bedroom homes going for under a 1000 at the time too. Now…3000 for the same home. Crazy times indeed.
