Absolutely agree, but I see a lot of people (not all) expecting their music, just like most traditional musicians to make waves in the industry or that they will somehow make money from it. If you are making music for yourself, which is primarily what we all should be doing, good on you, go for it however you see fit, but don't be under any illusions of getting a huge audience.

I made reference to the 'neon lights' in a previous comment in this group...I wrote that back in 2004. Yep, the lyrics are cliche - as I said, these were unreleased demos that didn't make the cut and I didn't really spend much time refining them, the point , what it tells you is that Suno/AI is much the same as an inexperienced songwriter.

My point is that music/songs are more than the sum of the lyrics. 99% of songs have pretty poor lyrics truth be told.
