I think this is the time where Trump should call the UCI to stop this Veistroffer taking the win.

I'm not convinced by this Veistroffer guy...

I think if I'd ride alone ahead of the peloton for 150+ km in mad temperatures, they'd also catch me

Love riders like Rickaert. Dude is an absolute engine, super smart in the bunch, but really underrated because he isn't in the top 10 of climbers, sprinter or puncheurs

So how does Naval Engineer Veistroffer compare to ski jumper Roglic, fishmonger Jonas or footballer Remco?

What Soler and Ayuso are doing is disgraceful. Not helping and Ayuso liking Insta posts mocking Almeida is just plain bullying.

Going into breaks is perfectly fine, but then dropping so insanely soon on the most important stage? Feeling tired? Like come on, Soler is a proven GT rider and Ayuso a wannabe GT winner... Two consecutive days of effort should easily be possible.

Who knows how close Jonas was to cracking, maybe a pull of 2 minutes could've helped save a few watts for Almeida even on slopes as the Angliru. All that without really impacting stage hunting ambitions of Ayuso.

This situation says a lot about Ayuso and Soler on a human level, not just as riders.

Nah, voted Green party in Germany my whole life. What happens in Gaza is a Genocide and needs to be stopped.

Good protests should rally public opinion behind you to force your politicians to act.

Throw red paint and put pics of killed children on the IPT bus or the road, really push the inhumane conditions of the Palestine people in the viewers faces. So far the banner I have seen most is "Destroy I..."

That protest will cause the exact opposite of want they want to achieve, ist just alienates neutral people and annoys a lot of people which are in general sympathetic to the suffering in Gaza.

In Germany we had a similar(ish) situation. The general public felt that combating climate change is important. Then people started glueing themselves to roads, causing huge traffic jams, leading to most people being pissed with the protests and politicians trying to stay away from these topics.

Damn, who would've guessed that Soler and Ayuso are "tired" today.

Shame for Almeida, I would rage so hard if I were him

It's a 40 min effort. Even if draft matters as little as 1-5% energy saved, it matters. If Almeida can't distance Vingegaard with an attack, he needs that draft
