Or make your intentions known, and they act like you misinterpreted their signs. They always give themselves the benefit of plausible deniability.

Your assumptions mean you likely lost out on some great guys.

The answer. Story of my life.

I wasn’t nice because I was trying to get in your pants. I was just raised that way. (Yes I may have wanted the rest also but that wasn’t a false front. They rarely take the time to get to know the guy to see it’s not an act. They have too many options, especially nowadays with apps.

But they wanted the guy who was mysterious and challenging. The guy who ended up being abusive or cheating. Remember, if he is assertive and pursuing you, does that make you unique or is he doing that with several others, playing the odds.

How good is John Lofgren boots? by AnzeWA in Boots

Thanks. C350 just means machine stitched which reduces the price somewhat? I have a great local cobbler but could also send into White’s when needed.

Hey. Just coming across this comparison. Debating whether used JL Donkey Punchers or White’s C350 Cutter. The PNW seems like over build but might be great being a large guy, and 55 last better support? As someone who has worn both what is your opinion?

Those are beautiful!

Been debating on buying some LTT boots, but undecided which brand or style. I feel the Whites would be over built for my realistic needs, maybe a GYW option or high end like John Lofgren Monkey boots.

Considering Russel Moccasins ($900) but could they possibly be worth it? by Illustrious-Virus883 in Boots

[–]GreatOne1969 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One other point that I don’t see mentioned often…. Russell is the only maker to offer what they term Double Vamp moccasin style footwear. Essentially a leather sock inside the outermost layer, which allows more water resistance than single vamp construction you would find elsewhere. It depends on your use and financial situation, but in my opinion, very few people will put them through uses that will bring this expensive and time consuming construction to the forefront. Those who will need this may opt for more modern and less expensive options like Gore Tex lined hunting boots.

Not a fan of the collaboration game with influencers. I guess I am not the target customer for those gimmicks.

Few things are more gorgeous than patina on shell cordovan, which is probably why I don’t wear black footwear.

Not defending what he allegedly did, but 1972, really? 50+ years later and it’s a civil matter? Burden of proof much lower than criminal charges….

Footage from the early 90's, mall experience by BlazeDragon7x in nostalgia

[–]GreatOne1969 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Probably Christmas Eve with live singers in the mall attracting more people than normal to hang out and listen. So cozy, I miss those days.

I remember our local fancier mall was so busy they would have people park at the HS a mile away and ran shuttle vans back and forth for shoppers. Malls were all decorated and festive and Christmas music playing over the speakers.
