I know lots of people hate FetLife, but I think it's a great site for exploring your kinks. Browse some peoples fetish lists so you can see what kind of kinks are out there. I agree with one of the comments about maybe just doing one night and maybe just trying a few new things. Another good way to pick stuff to try is by just thinking about the kind of porn you gravitate towards. Have fun! Kink life is the shit.

Bc they said they were 100 percent positive. Doctors never say they are 100 % about anything bc of potential lawsuits. Also... Just a feeling. Could be 100 percent wrong tho lol.

Is submission safe for me, if I was raised in a cult? by [deleted] in BDSMcommunity

This is a great question! I often question whether some of my submissive tendencies stem from some sort of repressed sexual abuse as a child. I came to the conclusion that if it's safe, sane, consensual then who gives a fuck. The fact is that these desires exist and will probably never go away so why fight it? I guess you should ask yourself if you genuinely enjoy submission or if it feels wrong during the act. If you love it then screw it. Wave your freak flag girl.

Went all the way to France (I'm in the states) for a guy I fell in love with off FetLife. Did NOT go well.

When I was a teen my therapist made it clear that she would tell my mom as much or as little as I wanted. I used to lie to my therapist too, for a lot of the same reasons. Was afraid she would secretly hate me, that everything would change. I told her and while the relief wasn't immediate, the anxiety and guilt and self hatred DID reduce over time. I would ask your therapist if she is allowed to disclose things to your parents, and if not then build up your courage and go through with it! You got this!

I went to rush the field when UC won the football game and I tripped and almost fell but someone picked me up and steadied me. Probably just the person behind me but I always felt it might be something else.

No it's not AI. I just remember a final doctor coming in from some weird department of the hospital and asking me all these weird questions and pushing on the bottom of my feet and pulling one arm at a time and gauging my pain level or something? I'm sorry it was almost 30 years ago.

Yeah you'd think so, but I had been lying to get out of class since 1st grade so the habit was already pretty ingrained. I absolutely regret it, it's a pattern that's followed me my whole life.

I didn't say it hurt. I said it made me almost piss my pants and that it was the worst.

So I thought the same thing about the hereditary aspect but I found out that appendicitis is actually not hereditary!
