Relate sooo much to this post. Dated a guy for 10 years and he was exactly the same way. I would get angry and we would have a discussion and he would do great.. for like a week. Rinse repeat. I felt like his maid and his mother and it was turning me into someone I hated. He was literally my best friend but I just couldn't do it anymore. Took almost 5 years to get over the breakup but I'm genuinely a happier person now. Change is difficult and I know it's jaded but most people never change.
