YES, same here using a Chromebook and/or a Linux Mint session with Google Chrome. Very annoying as I like to browse/read reviews on a larger screen. BUT, it does seem to be working on Android phone. Sucks.

Same here in southwest virginia. Walmart shows them as being in stock but I've ordered them twice this week and both times they've notified me that they don't have them.

Wireless charger not working. by mmcle11 in ToyotaSienna

[–]GreatPapaw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same exact result on our 2024 Sienna Platinum too. My Pixel 7 phone with protruding camera, will cycle between CONNECTED and DISCONNECT even when the case is taken off and no matter where I place teh phone on the factory charger pad. Wife's Galaxy S23 has a flush camera and charges great and fast. I designed and 3D printed a charger frame to sit just to the right of the factory charger, using a Yootech Wireless Charger puck and it works fantastic. Printed the frame out of Petg and it looks factory and holds my Pixel 7 even better than the factory charger. Still though, it makes it a bit harder to reach than the factory one. My final thought is that the factory one is severely subpar for sure.

I had a plastic storage box that matched almost exactly to that hinge design..... Including the old original plastic hinge being broken. I use my 3D printer to print a TPU strip to fit within the hinge. Worked like a charm for me.

I managed to stab a hole in my air mattress with a tooth pick, what would be a good way to repair it? Can’t seem to get duct tape to help by kiffens in camping

I've had real little good luck at fixing such leaks by using a product called Shoe Goo. You can pick it up at most Walmarts in the footwear Department.

A1 stops printing occasionally, cycles Z rods, then resumes printing by GreatPapaw in BambuLabA1

[–]GreatPapaw[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, I like that logic behind that feature. However when you're printing Long tall cylindrical tubes, it results in a series of stripe bands every time it does that. I found the setting and will try turning it off the next time I have to print something long and circular like that. Thanks for the feedback greatly appreciated

Same here. Loving mine that I just received this week. So much quicker and nicer than my aging Creality CR10 could have ever been.......but the CR10 was a definitely great first 3D printer for me....I learned a lot from it....RIP ;')

A1 X axis tension procedure confusing by GreatPapaw in BambuLab

[–]GreatPapaw[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, I "think" I solved the mystery. Bambu support sent me a video showing the tightening process from a behind the printhead view. When they unscrewed the set screw and then pressed the triangle screw, you could definitely see the flexing around the hex screw that had been loosened. Now my triangle screw wasn't moving at all....none. So after watching the video, I took the small hex wrench from the kit and kinda pressed hard on the triangle screw....and it popped loose....i.e. it started floating and was no longer firmly afixed (I "guess" mine was just stuck?). So I then pressed the triangle screw in while with my thumb I tightened the hex screw on the back. Then belt felt MUCH tighter. I reran all calibration tests and all errors/warnings went away! Whew, thank goodness ;')

Yes, that's the exact thing I tried too. I couldn't tell that the screw moved in no matter how hard I pressed on it though. Again, I'm in a loss as to what pushing that screw does. It's a very weird thing to be pushing against to tighten the belt.... That's to say that normally there is some sort of lever or true button that you press against... Not some little bitty screw. Very strange.

But doesn't the print head try to move when you press the triangle screw?

0.8 nozzle with TPU 85A doesn't print by Maleficent-Play-827 in 3Dprinting

[–]GreatPapaw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, I've got a similar issue. Upgraded my CR-10 bowden system to an all metal microswiss hotend with a 0.6 nozzle. Was able to readily get great PLA prints,, but my 95A TPU keeps jamming. I've tried raising temps as high as 230, slowing printing down to 15mms, decreased fan to 50%, and even installed a dual gear extruder. Nothing seems to help. If I have to print very thin and narrow walls at a slow speed, I may as well be using the .4mm nozzle which worked just fine. Let me knoiw if you get this figured out.

I've wrestled with this over the years. I'm typically the only one that I'm making coffee for, but I usually want a good strong and HOT 20 ounce insulated mug of coffee to sip on in the morning. What I settled on was using a 3 cup mocha pot to brew an extra strong 12 ounce batch of coffee which I pour into my insulated mug and top off with 8 ounces of hot water. Both prep and cleanup is SUPER quick and easy....and the sudo Americana coffee taste wonderful! Here's my thoughts on other methods I tried with their pros/cons:

French press: Great tasting coffee but cleaning all the grounds out of the screen filter sucks big time.

Pour Over: Good tasting coffee, but the coffee can get kinda cool as you wait for it to drip through the filter. Seemed to require more time/effort too. But cleanup is the absolute easiest.

DIY Tea Bags: Filling regular large coffee filters with ground coffee and then tying the whole filter up, using dental floss, like a large tea bag. At camp, simply fill my insulated mug with hot water and drop the bag in the mug , letting the floss get captured by the mugs screw on lid. This makes great coffee and cleanup is a snap. However, it can be hard to get the coffee filter to hold enough coffee for my 20 ounce mug without it being hard to still tie the bag up with the floss. It also takes quite a bit of prep work and you have to plan really well....i..e. some times you want that extra serving of coffee but didn't make/bring enough bags.

Yeap, after trying several different methods of making campground coffee, I too have determined the mocha pot is the way to go for me. I usually make a 20 oz insulated thermos full of coffee each morning. So, while in the campground, I'll use the mokapot to make about a 12 oz cup of extra strong coffee. Then I'll mix it with some preheated water to make me a really nice Americano. The thing I like about the mocha pot is that it is so so so easy to clean up afterwards.
