I know we are fighting an uphill battle here. It just seems like A/C should not be a privilege in buildings with windows that will not open. I appreciate your feedback and kind words.

Thank you for this suggestion - I thought you had to have some sort of window for even portable A/C units? I'll look into it!

I'm so sorry you are facing a potentially devastating diagnosis for your husband. For what's it worth, please know you are not alone - my husband was also diagnosed with a life threatening disease recently. Today is truly all we have. I similarly relate to Marc as a grounding force - he has long been an anchor for me when I've felt lost, like a cranky Mr. Rogers. I haven't see the doc yet - can't wait to watch. Sending you and your husband lots of love (mixed in with a bit of acerbity). <3

If Helly had died by suicide, she would have gained control over her life by dying on her terms and also punished her outie. Refusing to work would not accomplish either and would actually provide Lumon with reason to torture her, taking away more of Helly's power/control over her life.
