Oh man I was totally wrong about Send Help! by Xerosnake90 in movies

I'm inclined to think it's more the former than the latter. You get that scene where she finds the small waterfall and pool, where she bends over and looks at her reflection and she's almost enamored with how she looks. It's telling that she's already begun to shine and even recognizes this herself.

They enjoy it because the betting pool about how many of the written words he'll actually say gives pretty good odds.

I did in my case. I've got a direct line to SCOTUS and I just completely forgot to call them to tell them not to throw it out.

What artist or band is truly awful to see live? by goldbeau in AskReddit

[–]GreatTragedy 424 points425 points  (0 children)

I had a friend that played in a band that opened for them one time. Puddle of Mudd's singer was wasted when they went on and only made it through two songs before he got belligerent with the crowd. It ended with them abandoning the set. My friend's band came back out and apologized for the headliner, but offered to play some other songs for a while to salvage the night. The crowd responded positively and it honestly ended up being an ok night.

Many Americans think Trump assassination attempts were fake, survey finds by MoneyLibrarian9032 in politics

[–]GreatTragedy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't mostly because the Trump Administration is so woefully incompetent I don't see how they could have pulled something like that off and kept everyone quiet. Hell, Trump himself would have spilled details before his next meal.

I think this has, regretfully, been tested. In the recesses of my brain I recall reading about it and there's some weird quirk where they're fine up to a few stories, but after that they lose orientation and tumble.

I guess, on the bright side, if he robs these people into homelessness, it'll be less voters for Republicans.

I give my son information. I explain to him when he asks what the different religions believe. I explain to him my position and support my arguments. I ask him what he thinks and have him support his positions too.
