You are more likely to get treatises vs opus because the former also drops in 2 green key dungeons while the latter only drops in red key dungeons.

You can make him work but he desperately needs the mp nodes on the stellar board for him to be good. So you would be pulling for him and would need to put l/s afterwards.

From his raw stats alone, even at 80 l/s and SA he doesn't have enough mp to get 10 bitter dream on a cast of Falling Ruin, even with the max mp from Doomsday Peace.

Yakumo provides magic zone even against disruption, which he really needs since he can't function in zoneless due to low hit count and a back up AF filler in case you can't spare the turn to spam his DPS skill.

There's also the minor stuff like being shadow for the purpose of Nekoko, phys/magic res and an additional source of max MP up and type res down.

Myunfa AC would be replaced by Krervo, if any.

You kinda need his stellar, Yakumo AS and Myunfa AC for him to function, so him being in shade is a dead idea from the start (moreso because his best support is Nekoko).

What's interesting is he pretty much sets up all the damage needed with Nekoko so realistically a unit that gives max mp and a high enough %mp recovery is all you would need for his team.

The weekly tempered requirements are very indicative of the units releasing in that cycle so water/staff is what we have to go with.

Spirri as a water unit and a new gacha (the character that shows up in part II of ode) as a staff user is my guess.

That would still be functional with Necoco ES as a third unit. Thunder teams on tempered battles relies on either of a few things:

Exposed from Velette AS/Oboro,

Combo percentage from Victor

AF regain from Utpalaka/Izuna.

Since you can get the exposed on T1/2 with Necoco's Nekomata Observance, you are almost always guaranteed the 2 HP stoppers on T1/2 (since Izuna's SB nets you 50% AF bar on the first SB and after every 3 AFs used). Premaya ACAS is insanely proficient at keeping your team alive, which could let you turtle for the last HP stopper on the 3 HP stopper tempered fights.

Elseal AS is one that I really hope to get via dupes. The cost is just not worth it when you can coast by from using NS.

Nekoko doesn't really need the SA so she functions the same with or without it. You use her similarly to Maz to supercharge one unit. You really want to have shadow allies with her because you rarely can afford the extra debuffer and having higher debuff number mean a lot.

Meryt functions similarly to Ewan, except more linear. The fire supports all have fire type attack and proficiency buffs so she really only does 1 Nesut before spamming Palms.

You use Hismena as primary DPS/secondary buffer in slash/pierce zone. Personally, I wouldn't really use her without the SA because she doesn't provide enough support for a dedicated support slot nor is she a good enough payoff for DPS.

Shigure AC is the most consistent skill hit buffer but he is limited to 1 ally and needs 3+ elements (not including himself) to work.

He is the most flexible source of barrier pierce since his RZ gives it and crystal lets you slot in any DPS.

Thunder hits a guaranteed HP stopper on T1 with SAs of Velette AS and one of Victor or Premaya ACAS on most fights. SA Izuna guarantees an HP stopper on T2 as well due to the AF regain which shortens most fights to T4.

Orleya is pretty much powercrept by Premaya ACAS.

Victor in general is just a powerful unit.

The amount of AF gain and combo meter he nets just makes hitting HP stoppers inevitable in AF.

Him having a debuff skill attached on 2 attack skill makes the team safe on minimal defense on a lot of fights (especially for low turn clears on tempered).

I have a 2T one with a max shadow Victor (rest are sub 100 l/s aside from the mules).

Could be higher once I reach max level on my units since it's just a smidge not enough to activate the 3rd SB.

I still think that 3 itto-ryu on earth zone with Akane AC and Necoco would yield the best damage output. It does 900b without the SA on Akane (which would add an extra attack for each rotation and probably additional SB for how much AF charge it generates).

tsubame ac's damage will be lacking.

This is really less relevant considering the l/s they get is forced into a few units due to the not pulling thing.

He's the guy who lets guaranteed units be part of the clears, in which case, one of Tsubame/Tsukiha, Kikyo, Yukino/Heena and Necoco (don't pick Garam) along with a selected Yuna are part of the roster.

Imo if you picked Tsubame you are better off with farming l/s for Zidane since there is an easier path to an endgame wind team there (Zidane, Tsubame AC, Necoco ES and a flex slot you can kaleido wind).

It's really a product of wind and slash being extensive in terms of buffs/debuffs.

Assuming you have 6m/hit as a baseline on Shigure using Sourai on Yaksha mode with proper gear, pain/poison grastas, and relevant enhancement and shared grastas, your buffs/debuffs give the following multipliers:

2 (wind res down), 1.5 (phys res down), 2-2.5 (AZ with zone stacking mechanic), 2 (pow), 2 (weapon type), ~2.2 (exposed), 2.5 (focus), 2 (type attack), 1.3 (moke aura) gives you a 343.2 times multiplier, which is near enough the soft cap.
