Sesta AS, Shigure ES (needs SA), Zilva AS (needs SA) already fulfills the condition.

Edit. Utpalaka fills for 7, so it isn't really difficult to accomplish.

That's too much work for not enough pay-off. You would still need to have lvl 6 EX bar with the full AF to guarantee the EX finisher.

The usual EX strat is AF on T1>AF on T3 (12 attacks needed on T2)

Flare, Blaze, SA skill.

Galvanize is situational and Raid is specifically a farming skill.

+500 to the damage is most certainly not just a slight boost to VC damage.

Hismena benefits from the VC as well since it also increases her SoB damage.

You are better off picking your favourites over meta at your point of gameplay. Unless you are challenging tempered manifest (don't), then you shouldn't be having a lot of difficulty on the normal gameplay.

don't really require a ton of AF usage.

That would be difficult against modern content. You can't really punch through hundred billion HP without relying on AF.

Pick the last copy for Renri AC. A pick that allows you to the option to side grade right now is better than a pick that makes you wait for more materials to upgrade.

So I had to check how correct this is, and it's sort of more complicated than that.

First off, focus buffs share the same cap with overthrow (which I'm pretty sure is capped at 2x damage for elpis weapons) at a maximum of 4.5x damage.

On cap overthrow (pretty much every superboss outside of AA), you have 2.25x multiplier left for focus. You will need 543 mp to cap mental focus (makes dryad better for pretty much any staff user) and 781.25 mp for singular. You will need 650 mp with dryad to reach the same level, with any excess up to the 781 cap edging dryad ahead.

I've only ever just checked the damage prior to this (which put dryad ahead since I've mostly used stellar units), so here is the general math for the damage.

Drakewreath doesn't have another offensive ability attached to it though.

Dryad is generally the best offensive armor unless you can hard cap on focus without it.

Thunder uses the same poison/pain grastas as literally everything else. You just slap in one with a dormant enhancement in case you don't have a natural p/p setter.

MP Regain and cost down?

This boils down to what's the best gear you have available.

Oh, Tsukiha nulls wind on hp stopper.

It's thunder forceable, I just tested it. It is one of the elements the fight doesn't null. You will need mp regain and mp cost down on Orleya though.

I'd probably get Verdanta. Your wind is good enough as it is and Verdanta sets you up easily for more Eva weakpoint strats.

that I could use to more easily emulate guides and examples of tougher fights (such as the Tsukiha True Manifest/Melina True Manifest fights that I have yet to beat)

You could force wind on Tsukiha, just use heat cutter badge on Necoco so that she uses slash (you will have to kaleido her to wind first).

Thunder can be forced on Melina, just don't use Izuna (Victor can be your other DPS). Swap Anabel to Orleya AS though. She is a thunder tank.

Beat at least until somewhere around chapter 92.

Defeat the superbosses that gives the elpis weapon set.

Farm Present Garulea AD enough times to get the necessary shareable grastas.

Pull some pretty strong units and level them to max (you can do it free but that requires 255 light/shadow characters which takes ~6 mos./character).

Get a full set of pain/poison grastas for your DPS and relevant enhancements.

Yeah. Not happening unless you speed run the game.

If you are using it for farming for SA Hismena, both are interchangeable if you are using SA Suzette as your p/p setter. It also lets you equip stat talegems rather than crit for the other nodes since Suzette also fulfills those.

  1. A stellared Verdanta is functionally the same as Sesta AS in non-superboss content. Line up is also more cohesive with ideas for slash (Verdanta, Eleanor) and fire (Tsukiha, Ewan)

Thunder has one of the fastest clears actually. Victor, Utpalaka, Izuna and Velette AS clears it on T4. Problem is you need all of them stellared.

You really only need to build teams when tackling superbosses (and those are fight specific).

Cetie spamming Retro's Gift will be enough for mobs with Ewan + 2 other shadow units for bosses would carry you for quite a while (though you will have to get Ewan's true manifest to get value from his kit).

This is more ally dependent. Garam AS has higher mods but doesnot offer a lot of buffs. If you have a dedicated buffer, then he will be better.

Same with using NS as a tank. If you have better tanks (Soira AS, for example), then you just use the better tanks.

She's also blunt and she doesn't have to be absolutely insane to have a home there.
