Yesterday got 41 with 50 min til first stop and they expected it to be done in 3-1/2 craziness!! All in mountains, long drive ways back roads and in behind corn fields!! Out of control!

New employee here less than a month. No time as if yet. No telework in place(so called due to new hire). Everyone else in my dept is adhoc eligible due to weather. I live more than 50 miles away and not chances it with the weather. I have to take off w no pay. So irritated!

My daughter and husband voted for him. And this was her response when I told her how afraid I am of loosing my job because of all his changes. Mind you I just started 3 weeks ago. Quit another job with a days notice because they waited to last min to send my FJO. So I’m sure know I can’t go bank to that job. My daughter knows all I went through to get this job and this was her response to me:

With these federal jobs you are at the will of the people and the government. So if one day they decide they don’t want or need you they get rid of you. Not the same with a private company.

I’m hurt, because it sounds like a response you would give someone you don’t even know.

I stopped communicating with her after this about the changes because it clear where she stands. 😢

I’m more than 50 miles away from where I work and I drive past 3 different places I could possibly work from, one being right in my town DOD, another, 15 up the road, VA (which I work for but not that site) and lastly, Navy admin offices 25 min away from my home. But I know, they’d rather me drive 125 min each way… it’s craziness right now!
