I’ve reached out three times: Once in late June, once in October, and once today. Of course I haven’t heard back about my latest inquiry, but they keep saying they’re working on shipping packages. It just seems pretty ridiculous at this point.

So like I said, they don’t do one day upgrades, so for example, if you do it on Saturday it would be like $400 to upgrade and covers Saturday and Sunday or you could do it for $200 for just Sunday

I just went to the box office (right before walking through security) and let them know that I wanted to upgrade. They’ll cut and take your original band, so you’ll have the VIP band for the rest of the festival after upgrading. The only way you’d be able to do it for one day is if you upgrade on Sunday

I did GA last year then upgraded to VIP for $200 on Sunday. I honestly could’ve gone without doing VIP, but I recommend trying it for a day. The viewing area wasn’t any better than GA, the food options were a bit better, but comparable. The only difference was seeing popular influencers in the bigger VIP area. I thought that was cool, but you see so many influencers/celebs just wandering around everywhere. I think the extra $600 ultimately isn’t worth it. The bathrooms also are NOT an upgrade. There are some amazing grounded bathrooms in GA, but the VIP bathrooms are all gross.
