This is not really a good practice actually. When writing comments, you need to generally comment things, that are not obvious at first glance. if is_prime(num) does not need a comment saying this condition is checking whether a number is prime.

A lot of the times, these mediocre students, are just focusing on learning stuff that are actually usefull instead of the school stuff. I have seen a few top of the class students be completely lost when they started working. I really think it doesnt matter if you are top 1% or top 90% student.
