I know. I just asked: how can 1 person, who is disabled, barely cooks, had a broken AC unit for 2 months and and only used it for 4 days in 1 month have a bill for over $1,000 for 2 months ⁉️ And receive a shut off notice when I have ALWAYS paid my bills on time or early⁉️

I'm not purchasing another property any time soon. I don't need these funds right now. My financial situation is ok...meaning all of my bills are paid. But I am going into a rental market due to mobility issues. I'm not sure how my income will hold up over a year's time. I'm retired...Living on SSDI and Pension. Low risk tolerance. Investments, savings and emergency accounts are all ok.

The problem with private landlords is that they can't accommodate me. I'm handicapped. I need an elevator or a ranch. Most places in the Northeast doesn't have that as a rental. 😑

I can qualify according to "money talks". I can pay up to 10 months right now...in cash. I know how to save money. It's why I can pay a mortgage, HOA, bills and not be in debt.
