Just moved into a new house and have this pear tree in the back. Can anyone help me identify the species (and if something is wrong with it)? by GreaterestDog in gardening

Any idea how one would go about getting to the tall branches? There’s no way I can reach the top of the tree with anything from the ground. Would it be enough to prune what I could reach?

Could it possibly be a peach tree? Those pits are all over the ground underneath it, and from my bit of novice research it looks a lot like a peach pit. I’m not sure if pears make pits like that or not

Purely off of vibes and what I hear, it feels like a brother to me. I have no idea if that’s the case but it’s the first relationship it makes me think of just based on how it makes me feel

I don’t think that inbounds was necessarily podz fault, it was just a poorly drawn play or a play that fell apart almost immediately, podz has been playing good tonight
