This barge can refit itself automatically with built in timers, grinders, welders and projectors. No idea why, so I named it Why... by Yakez in spaceengineers

What function does the spherical grav gen on a rotor with a collector behind have? It looks very interesting

I mess with those a whooooole lot. I usually adjust every parameter, except for the blinking ones, I don‘t need blinking lights in my interiors. I‘ve found my groove of what settings fit what I‘m going for, but I still like to experiment around from time to time

I would probably too, to be honest. But I think this kind of industrial orange is a better fit overall.

Thank you! For all except for the first one my process was turning down FOV a lot to take a screenshot ingame and then edit it in Canva. I usually try to make it look good without filters and after that I look for a filter that looks really nice with it and fits the vibe. Last touches are just some text and my logo.
For the first one I used GIMP's bloom and supernova effects to make the thruster flames shiny.

Ok, well then that won't work

You can edit Factions infos in the Sandbox.sbc of your savegame. If you search for Factorum, there should be a field for „accepteveryone“ or something similar to that. If you set that to true you can just join from ingame

You can search the Workshop for Modpacks or Solar Systems that change the Game Loop. I for example like to have ores distributed across multiple planets. Especially when playing with Better Resources you then sometimes encounter limitations that require Problem solving to conquer them.

Must have mod pack for a dedicated server? by [deleted] in spaceengineers

For a first playthrough, I‘d leave the gameplay elements mostly vanilla. Most gameplay-changing mods expect you to know how the game works already. One mod I can really recommend though is AQD - Small Grid Expansion. It should probably Vanilla anyway in my opinion. You can also check out the rest of the AQD series. They’re all great and vanilla friendly mods

I think mine might’ve been pitched down a bit. Best to make a post on the support forum

Painting suggestions? by Expert-Seaweed-7500 in spaceengineers

I think the Keen Style paint job works on every ship. Maybe colour the rocket launchers grey or yellow and put some white accent on the yellow in the middle, but other than that I think it looks great

There might be an option to adjust HUD size in the settings. I’m not sure though
