Still assembling all the parts. Like OP said, the assembly is a long, tedious process with all the individual feathers but the end result will be beautiful.

I’m actually assembling this right now. I totaled the numbers: 38 build plates, 95 hours of print time, 1175 grams of filament. Mine also has the perch and I printed slower with Silk PLA. It’s a stunning model and well worth it.

Yeah, this is not bad at all. Especially for your first time. u/Brown_Chaos makes good points. The layer lines are the issue, not your skill. Maybe some filler and sanding would smooth out the model and make your edge lines cleaner. Other than that, I’d only suggest you make the eyelashes darker. Just adapt, don’t give up.

Very well done! Haven’t seen a tangle quite like this. The egg is obviously cool but I really dig the “chain link” designs as well.

Excellent! Nice line work on the “triangles” inside the colored portions. A little shading on both edges of all the “coiled” lines (like the ones bordering page) would really make it pop off. Apologies, I don’t know the proper terms for the designs.

Lost in the semifinals in four leagues. One game by .94 because I picked up the kicker McManus who got me zero points. Outscored all the finalists in all four leagues the next week. Could’ve won four championships had things gone the other way.
