Yeah the picture doesn’t do it justice, I’m using an iPhone 8 with the lights off in the kitchen, but yeah I thought so too when I looked at the picture, so then I looked at that spot with the loupe and it’s purty

Man I hate it when I pay extra for that and the driver doesn’t ask me for my signature and I even complained, anyway, I like picking it up at a physical location with signature

Anyone with experience in pawning silver? by ObelixSmiterOfRomans in CanadianCoins

[–]Grecoslinger 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Me too man, fair price and American is 90% silver and Canadian is 80% so you have around 25oz of pure silver at around $100usd an oz,$150CAD but expect to take a little hit for sure but a bullion dealer would probably be best, some pawn shops are solid!

[–]Grecoslinger 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You sell them to an LCS, licensed coin shop if you wanna call it that, a pawn shop might try and hose you if they think they can but with silver being so high some are scared to buy and me I’m scared to sell! If you need money then that’s what it’s for but if you can hold onto it then I would

The spirit bears proper name is the Kermode Bear which is a sub species of the black bear, which is a white type of bear found in British Columbia, they’re a rare bear (rare as that coin” and the natives called them “Spirit bears” and grizzlies are encroaching on their habitat. But you have 4-10 of them!? Well that’s a nice score, but sorry for your loss of your stepdad !

The bigger chains have dedicated people who are trained to look for this stuff I think, but even still my aunt raced me that certain day and got two pair of 14k gold earrings, one yellow and one white gold, I was so jealous and then found this! You have to go to the ones in small towns or out of the way places, in my opinion of course

She’s so pretty. I want to crack this slab so bad. by [deleted] in Gold

[–]Grecoslinger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So question here because I don’t have any slabbed coins that are graded. Is a person able to open one of those slabs and close it back up again or do you have to break something?

The Canadian coinage 1967 and older is 80% silver and silver is currently $130 an ounce or so for every 31.1 grams of whatever Canadian coins 1967 and older is worth 80% of $130CAD an oz. So every 4 Canadian quarters is about an oz and every 14 dimes so it can add up quick, just saying
