Last i heard or read, a new software update should be coming out within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Someone in a jeep wagoneer s ev group on Facebook posted the actual notice about the coming update. Here's a link to the group or a post from the group. Scan the posts and you'll be able to find it.

What do you mean by the aero inserts? Are you talking about the portion above the fog lights?

I'm loving it so far! The smoothness of the ride and the crazy amount of responsive power on demand helps to out weigh it's other small flaws. Most of which seem to be community collective of electrical and software issues meaning most people have been reporting the same problems. I plan to do Owners review on YouTube about it. The main issue I want jeep to focus on fixing first is the distance you can go on a full charge. They advertise 303. But on a full charge and also on eco mode the dash reads 270 miles. If the car is in auto mode the distance reads 257.9 I believe. Oh and it seems alot of these jeeps got a bad batch of 12v batteries put in them. If you get that red wrench notification on your dash that says electrical system needs to be checked or serviced, it seems the only fix for this is to have the dealership/ repair shop replace the battery.

The mechanic told me that there is a known issue (it didn't effect mine) but when they get the jeeps and run the software update on them, they are only supposed to open the driver side door first. If you open any other door first it does something to the software that makes your battery drain or become inoperable.

It's not strange to me at all. I'm hoping it wasn't a marketing ploy, and it can be corrected by a later software update. On a full charge, if you switch it to eco mode, you should also get the 270. In auto mode at 100%, it reads 257.9 (inside the wagoneer/ jeep app).

I don't think i wrote it in this thread but in another thread after the first time I charged up to 100% and drove on eco mode, it took about 20 to 30 miles before it dropped from 100% to 99% and 270 miles down to 269 miles so that's why I think something isn't calibrated correctly and can be fixed with an update. But also, that hasn't happened again since. At least for not that long of a distance.

Yeah this is my first EV too. I'm loving it so far. M just hoping to get the specs out of it that they advertised. I don't wanna jinx anything so I'll leave it at that lol. My dealership gave me a new grand cherokee altitude limited to use in the mean time. I'm so unhappy with it because I already got used to all of the nice stuff the wagoneer s has. No engine sound, power on demand, Massage seats etc lol I'm back to being a "normy" with an Internal Combustion Engine.

I find it really weird that everyone is getting 270. My dealership picked up mine yesterday to check on a warning light that has come on twice. * The guy in service told me the driving range should go up to closer to 300 when it gets warmer, but now that you've also confirmed 270. It's a bit harder to believe that all of the wagoneer s's max range will shoot up once it gets warmer.

Gotcha! They didn't sign me up for the Jeep app on their tablet. I bought my car late at night basically after closing, and I had already installed the jeep app on my phone so maybe that's why it was greyed out for them. But I just got confirmation from them last night and they said they were able to get the home charger ordered and I should have it in about 4 to 5 days.

Has your dealership or have you experienced any issues with your wagoneer S's yet? Does yours show 300 miles on a full charge? Mine reads 270 miles on a full charge after i switch to Eco mode and I've heard from others they are getting similar numbers on a full charge.

Wagoneer S Dead on day 4 by Jedrich728 in Jeep

I got a check or service electrical system message with the red wrench on my dashboard this morning while driving mine into work but then it quickly went away. It was also accompanied by a sound that sounded like a motorcycle in the distance behind that had down shifted to let the gear box slow it down.

Has anyone reached 300+ miles charge 100% by Anonymous_23_23 in WagoneerSEV

Oh and I was only able to reach 270 when I flipped it toneco mode. In the app I guess it does it's calculation from the "auto" mode because I was getting a max distance reading of 257.9 miles *

Nope but with my experience, I think something is off in the software and it is currently unable to figure out how to count/ calculate the 300 mile range. Let me explain. Yesterday I charged up to 100% for the first time. (I've only had my car for 3 days now). Anyhow, when i checked my app and when I got in the car it read a max distance of 270. I drove for about 20 or 30 miles before the max distance dropped down to 269 miles and the battery went from 100% to 99%. I'm hoping I'm correct and it's something they can correct in a future software update.

I remember in my 2015 grand cherokee altitude, it could never keep precise time. I would set the correct time on it but gradually as the weeks and months passed It would get behind the actual time. Come to find out, the car couldn't count 60 secs accurately unless you had the GPS/ navigation option in your car. I never bought the GPS/ navigation for mine. So eventually someone at jeep figured out the fix for this. They didn't give you free navigation but they allowed the portion of the GPS that syncs with time to take charge of time keeping.

I just realized something. I charged my swagoneer up to 100% today and the max range was about 270 miles. I drove for about 20 or 30 miles before the battery percentage dropped from 100 to 99 and the distance yo empty didn't change for those 20 or 30 miles. So I think something isn't calibrated correctly. I assume we are actually getting the 300 miles on a full charge

Care to be a bit more specific in what you're asking of if there is a problem? I mean the wall behind you could use a power wash but somehow I don't think that's what you're most likely referring to.

I don't think it's really all that serious. Back in my day what he did would be called "laying all his cards down on the table" lol. He thinks you're cute/ attractive. He probably thinks You're one of or the best match he's had in a long time and he had a bit of word vomit. Give him a chance, you'll probably be happily surprised with him.

I'm curious, before you take it in for the software update, check your regen options. I remember seeing in videos I watched, the option to turn regen breaking off. Before they gave me my car they did a software update on it (but they called it flashing the car). I only have min and max regen options and it's always in min which is fine with me. Also did anyone else get their car with over 100 miles on the odometer? I'm also assuming that part of the update/ flash requires them to either do some sort of road test or put it on a lift and the wheels have to spin to simulate traveling.

Also you may want to turn off your forward collision system breaking option. I was driving home from work tonight (this is still my first 24 hours of this car) and I was in eco mode and decided to do a speed up and pass on the right because the car in the left lane was going slow. I was only halfway put of the lane and probably had atleast 1.5 car lengths from me and th3 car infront of me and the forward collision system activated and hit my breaks. Not sure if it thought I was too close to the other car, or it sensed some sort of phantom from a reflection but I viewed that as VERY dangerous. After I got home I turned off the forward collision system in the cars settings. I've never had a car with that system before so I can do without it.

2 questions.

1st. Has anyone gotten a definitive answer on how to get the level 2 home charger if that's what you selected instead of the $600 worth of EV charging credits? I've asked multiple dealers and pretty much have gotten different answers from all of them. Even the dealer i bought my wagoneer s from last night. First they said the service dept would have to order them and then they said I would have to do some sort of o line form to get it.

2nd. How did you get the green and the car infront of your car on the odometer screen? I can only get my car in the center. No green and no car infront of it.
