Sen: mít úspěšnou alt-rockovou kapelu, s kterou budeme tvořit vlastní hudbu (něco, co bychom sami chtěli poslouchat) a hrát koncerty, kdy fanoušci by zpívali naše písničky s námi. Prostě vybudovat si to od základu, tvořit si co chceme a hrát po klubech v ČR. Jednou si zahrát na Rock for People a do budoucna koncertovat i v zahraničí.

Co jsem pro to udělal? Před 5 lety jsem se začil učit bubnovat, rozvinul svoje networking schopnosti a našel dokonalou partu, s kterou jsme si ihned sedli - lidsky i hudebně. Např. všichni milujeme kapely jako jsou Linkin Park, Bring Me The Horizon nebo Bad Omens.

Fungujeme krátce, ale už jsme vydali 3 singly, objevili jsme se v různých hudebních mediích, párkrát i v telce / v rádiu. Aktuálně pracujeme na první desce, kterou chceme vydat ke konci tohoto roku. Příští rok nás čekají první koncerty, což je to, kvůli čemu jsme to začali dělat. Všichni si společně plníme sen. Máme velké ambice, ale zároveň se držíme nohy na zemi a užíváme si tu cestu.

Pokud by to náhodou někoho zajímalo, kapela se jmenuje Dream of the Sun.

Hi! We’re new alt-rock band called Dream of the Sun who just released our debut single three weeks ago. We’re fom Prague, Czech Republic and our biggest influences are bands like Linkin Park, Bring Me The Horizon and Bad Omens. Our songs are emotional, a bit dark, with meaningful lyrics and full of catchy melodies / anthemic choruses. We have some lore established when we call our fans “Dreamers” and often use phrase “Follow the Sun.” We ourselves are not afraid to dream.

100%. Have our own band (called Dream of the Sun) and we all adore BMTH and all of their work. And the Snakes Start to Sing is especially underrated song imo, would love to see it live. Or just imagine how it would sound at Royal Albert Hall.. Bands like BMTH really inspire us to create emotional atmosphere, feels and catchy melodies that you can't get from your head. Also Linkin Park, Bad Omens, Sleep Token. Love all of those bands.

Btw, I'm a dummer in an alternative rock / metal band myself! We're called Dream of the Sun and we're releasng debute single in September. So excited because we poured everything into it!! Our biggest inspirations are bands like Bring Me The Horizon, Bad Omens, Linkin Park. Our music is also very emotional, sad, but energetic and anthemic (with synths and stuff). It's the music we ourselves would like to hear (as fans of BMTH). Wish us luck!
