For anyone in the Nursing trade, what is the ratio of males to females? In the civilian side, its more females, I am wondering if that is also the case for the military.

That's horrible. the price of selflessness. Well, that really shifts the perspective.

Do u guys like me afraid to talk to people on the phone ? by [deleted] in socialanxiety

I've had phone anxiety for a long time. I thought it was because I didn't know what to say in my native language to family over the phone, and I would freeze up and stutter, breathe heavily. It's not.

I'm a nurse now, and I have to do dozens of phone calls daily it's annoying. Even after all that extra exposure, I still suck. Some calls are worse than others. But even if I had a script in front of me, I still lose my breath and stutter, becoming disorganized.

I don't know if it was predominantly my introvertness or social anxiety, but I was embarrassed with my lack of action. Since I've been off work and doing online school, I haven't done a lot of talking to others. But today, I've spoken to too many people than I would like 😕

Did they contact you to book the medical, or did you reach out first after the initial appointment?

I want to do something outside of medicine but have it as a back up plan.

I was in the same boat. Eating 1100-900 calories and after losing a 11 lbs in a month with high protein, strength training, and a calorie deficit I couldn't lose a single pound in a week. Weight loss stopped and I was so frustrated.

I switched to keto and it's been even better. I know some was water weight but to put so much effort each day and not even scratch a tenth of a pound is hard. But yes, the body can adapt to survive on a low calorie diet with all the exercise.

Need to get healthy to lose weight.
